What about native religions. They accept gays and lesbians.
Other than Islam, every religion "accepts" gays. None accept them as being married in the house of God.
The creepiness is being tracked by the government. Keep in mind that it's unlikely that government is going to be one you support. Feeling creepy yet?
Sorry to burst your bubble but you have been tracked from the day you were born. Birth certificate. You are tracked from employer to employer. SIN Your spending habits are tracked. Credit Cards. If you have a cell phone, you can be tracked to your exact location. Your computer gets tracked. They can find out which sites you visit and what you type on the net. Unless you live in a cave, you're already being tracked. The only time your prints would ever come into question is if you get arrested. Like at the next G8 summit.
Except the discussion was about racial profiling.
You're the one who brought up that owning a gun was a choice. Your memory is fading.
Do you think we're stupid?
You don't really want me to answer this do you?
You keep saying that you have nothing to hide. how 'bout you put your name and address up in your next post?
Being fingerprinted by the RCMP and posting my name and address on a public website is hardly a comparison now is it? I'm sure you can do better than that.
It is so that when guns are stolen they are reported stolen and so when the police are walking into a potentially dangerous situation they are aware of it.
Oh I get it now. So when the criminal looks out his window and sees the police coming, he can call the phone registry hotline to advise the that he is in posession of a registered gun and that the officers outside his door should proceed with caution.
If a criminal steals a hunters gun, and decides to use it in a robbery, I hardly think that the fact it is registered will make a difference. Yet 2 BILLION dollars later, the gun registry has proven to be pointless. How many hospital beds could have been saved with this 2 BILLION dollars.
There are militias all over the US. Do you not have access to media. Timmy McVeigh was part of one. Several were attached to the farm movement. Quite a few have ties to religious exremists (Waco and Ruby Ridge ring any bells?) and others are just made up of survivalist nut-bags.
Why not bring up some events that happened with a year that starts with a 20 and not a 19?
Why does it only matter if the targets are here though? I thought it was supposed to be global war on terror. Isn't that what Georgie said? Why yes, yes it is. Now I knew he was lying when he said it, but thanks for confirming that for us.
It is global. The US, GB, Spain and few other countries are actively fighting it yet countries like our own bury our heads in the sand and pretend that terrorism doesn't exist.
Israelis shooting Palesinian school children.
Don't tell me your anti-semetic too? I respond with a dozen examples and you come back with this. Let me explain this to you once so that you will never have to make reference to this nonsense again. There is a BIG difference between a child being caught in the crossfire of a gunfight and a lunatic, straping himself/herself in explosives and looking for crowds of civilians to blow up. All for the great reward of 72 virgins in the afterlife.
100,000 Iraqis dead at the hands of George Bush.
The UN states 10,000. I guess they must be mistaken since you know the true number. You can't include insurgents, Iraqi army, suicide bombing casualties etc in your numbers. That would be Lying right?
What I was responding to was your assertion that, "They want to be married in the house of God." It was you who said that, crit.
NO, it is not their right to be married in a church which forbids it. Just as it's not my right to walk into a mosque with my shoes on. The charter of rights is not a free pass to piss on everyone elses beliefs because it makes you feel good.
I know an awful lot of people who disagree with you. To make such claims is foolish.
Yeah, all your NDP buddies that think Bob Rae is dreamy.
Alberta happens to be sitting on a puddle of oil and natural gas. They also have about the worst deal for selling that oil in the entire world. Klein brutalized a good portion of the population with his policies and, even though they are the richest province, still charges user fees for healthcare.
Excuses. Do you honestly think it's a coincidence that the province that is the most Conservative is the best off financially? The last time I checked, no one was dying in Alberta from the lack of health care. In Ontario however, my daughter gave me a scare during my 11 hour wait for a doctor. No user fees but a hefty health tax thanks to the Liberals.
Of course if Harris hadn't messed things up so badly, McGuinty might have something to work with. For that matter, if Harris wouldn't have pissed so many people off, McGuinty might not even be in office.
The only people Harris pissed off were the unions. Now they're even more pissed of at McGuinty. Go Figure.
