I dredged this old thread out of the dust to ask a question somewhat related to investing. Years ago I remember the Globe and Mail used to periodically publish a fairly comprehensive report on mutual funds in the paper. Does anybody know if they still do that or has everything moved online ? If they do, when ? I still like the feel of paper in my hands.
I've never seen their paper version...perhaps you could just print it

Yeah, I can't seem to find any word on it. It was about fifteen years ago that I used to use it, it's likely gone online somewhere. I liked it as it was a comprehensive list of funds each with some bare-bones performance numbers, you could lay the whole thing out on the desk in front of you. The online stuff seems geared more towards searching out a particular fund, options to have a whole bunch of different funds in front of you at once are limited.

My tobacco stocks have outperformed everything over the last 15 years. When Rothmans went private the windfall paid for my daughter's undergrad degree. Regrettably, I did not buy Apple at $15 (or was it less) in 2000.

The tall lanky kind is where the money is, once they let it be manufactured without limit.

Rich on a industry that causes grief to millions. Tell me that is your only investment.
