I've often wondered where 'Triple O' sauce comes from.

It must have a secret ingredient that makes people want to come again and again!

To the restaurant that is....get your minds out of the gutter people!:p

Seems self evident at this point. ( My mind's in the gutter but I'm looking at the stars ) ;-)

Looking at the stars, eh? Probably trying to see the bolt of lightning before it strikes you.:p:lol:

Were the White Spot/Tim Hortons' problems also in Campbell River? Yup it sure is annoying when you spend money and get bad food/service! I always let the restaurant know when they screw up...I call the owner, or manager....

Ya, down by the highway. It was a gong show, I guess with all the people headed to Roberts Reach for the fireworks.

What part of town are you in?

Backwater, Ontario.
Poor Kreskie

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Things not good in LaLa land?

Get used to it.

Ontario is sending all their Burger King rejects to work at your "better" restaurants.

Only in the restaurant business is it true that you PROBABLY NEVER get what ya pay for.

No wonder the life expectancy of a new eatery is about 8 months to a year. Even snob appeal wears thin after a few snobs get botulism........:color:

We here in the swamp feel your pain. We empathize most deeply and sincerely.

But; LIGHTEN UP: You had $100.00 bucks to blow. Were the drinks not good? You could have spent it on FOOD!! NO!! YOU HAD TO ................DRINK..............ALCOHOL.......:sad2:
More the shame K. You could have run over a street person on the way home with booze on your breath. Or tried.

All joking aside.......(seriously)........;-);-);-) Poor service sucks. Tis why, when me and Mrs. N'Ugg find a good place to mow down, we keep going back. Plodding plebians:walk:, we remain faithful to those who don't poison us; eschewing all freebies and gift certificates (not that you should, K, someone has to venture afar to new lands), unless they are for SWISS CHALET in BROCKVILLE, ONT. (shameless plug........their food and service are fantastic)

Let us know next time your in town, and we'll spot you to a meal...........You get the tip and the booze, ok?

Don't you wish sometimes life were like "Fawltey Towers", and you could grab the insurance salesman by the throat screaming: "For the love of God.......SHUT UP!!" ?

Ah well...........

I like my martini stirred counterclockwise, with three hand picked green greek olives skewered diagonally. It's smashing dahling.

We drive up to Painters Lodge about 3 times a year for lunch in the pub, (will never eat in the dining room, or we would be in the poor house), they have pretty good food, nothing marvelous, but good
fresh halibut fish and chips.
We were planning to go for the ride across the straits on their taxi (free) to have lunch at April Point
sometime, but since you've reported your miseries, won't bother.

We used to go to the Bee Hive before it changed hands a few years ago, but since then, don't care for
it.

The Driftwood restaurant has opened again, now under new ownership. The people who owned the
Bamboo Inn in Comox, now run it, great food. Located south of Willow Point.

Great food at the Comfort Zone at Willow Point, but of course, it's not formal, or evening, but very
good cooking.
