Canada has never won a war with America. Proto-Canada was part of New France, and then part of the British Empire and not an organized entity. Then it became a protectorate of the American Empire. Soon it will be on its own.

Canada could not withstand the ruthless use of American arms. But it will never have to. The only American army that threatens Canada will be an ignorant and impoverished mass that may someday eat and screw its way across Canada.

My Canadian friends do not have my experience. As a Californian I have witnessed with my own eyes what happens when ignorant, impoverished and desperate people arrive in mass. It changes everything. You simply cannot imagine what it's like. Don't any of the many Canadian snowbirds ever return with stories of how Arizona and California are now?

Arizona and California? No, the snowbird I know goes to Bermuda. An island full of rich white people who import white servants and are otherwise quite segregative.
Cut the power for a week and I figure Bermuda would become another Haiti. I could imagine the live news reports of Blackmen chasing David Bowie with a Bowie Knife!

Maybe even a live cannibalization scene featuring Michael Douglas? Always a good opportunity, I think - to restart a career and receive more fame.

No need to convince me, I've had a lifetime of experiences between Richmond, Surrey, and rich liberals in Canada with lisps who consider poor and middle class Canadians to be their slaves (after all, they need some white slaves just like in Bermuda).

I'm thinking a long term future in Europe or even Australia. Julia Gillard, a "Communist" (like we don't have those in Canada!) does more to protect Australia and its' identity than anyone in North America with their countries. Julia Gillard is bringing down the immigration quotas; whereas, Jason Kenney (a "conservative") in Canada wants to increase them.

Plus, Australia is its own continent; whereas, North America is a continent shared with Aztec Savages (Mexican) who ruin everything they touch and this is coming from someone who learned Spanish.

A father of a young man who was radicalized and convicted of Terrorism supported the hearings, so there's two sides to this issue. As for Rep. Shelia Jackson Lee grandstanding saying these hearings will play in Al Qaeda's hands what a load of crap coming from a woman who actually complained Hurricanes should be given African American names..

Even Alexander, the kid in the kindergarten book wanted to go to Australia, when he had a "Terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day"

Has it occurred to you that I may have bought and read that book to my children some 30+ years ago and that I just read the very same book again to my grand kids?

And yes, I enjoyed it and so did they.

The title of this thread is a blatant lie.

Rep. King has NEVER stated that Muslims are not American. NEVER!

He has condemned those people who become radical Muslims, and make attempts to attack the USA. He calls those people "Un-American", and he is absolutely correct in so labeling them. They have demonstrated, through their behavior, that they do not accept the basic concepts of what being an American is.

Instead of trying to work through the political process, they have chosen to attempt to destroy innocent people, to destroy buildings and to destroy transportation systems.

I also condemn anyone that attempts to blow up a bomb, either on their person or remotely; that makes an attempt to kill innocent people; that works to help others do those things. This is NOT how American settle their problems. If someone does choose to take this path, they are very properly executed, just as Timothy McVey was executed.

And I hate to tell the idiots that condemn these hearings, but I have yet to see any Methodists, Catholics, Shinto, Wiccans or other religious believers attempting to hijack airliners to crash them into office buildings; attempting to smuggle hundreds of pounds of explosives from Canada into the USA, attempting to blow up an airplane from explosives hidden in their shoes or underwear, etc.

The ONLY people that are doing, or attempting to do those kinds of things are MUSLIMS. Radical Muslims.

And the overall Muslim community is doing very little, if anything, to identify such people and see to it that they are brought to justice. Instead, they hide them, tolerate their "Jihad", and essentially appear to be in at least tacit support of their efforts.

I agree with you 100 %.

I particularly agree that the Muslim communities in Canada and America are doing little to overcome radicalization of their type.
It's time to call a spade a spade. This political correctness nonsence is being used by Muslims to their advantage .

Figuratively speaking, that's what's going to happen to Canada as a result of the coming American political/financial/economic/social earthquake.
Ummmm, no, I don't think this will ever happen, at least not in the next two lifetimes.

If anything we might see some kind of state/province alliances forming between some of the adjoining states/provinces.
But US has absolutly no interest in doing anything to Canada, in fact the US realizes Canada does more for the US by being independent.

Well you guys are both wrong..

“[W]hen a war begins,” King said, every ethnic and religious group unites as “Americans.” “But in this case,” King continued, referring to Muslims, “this is not the situation. … Whether it’s cultural tradition, whatever, the fact is the Muslim community does not cooperate anywhere near to the extent that it should”

I'm talking about American implosion, not Canadian independence.
