It's not forgotten eat **** and go to hell. You don't know what it was like.

You want to know what it felt like then? http://tunes.digitalock.com/sadness.mp3

300,000 troops sent there when the US only pitched in 50,000 just before the end.

It depopulated the young male population of prairie Canada, such that today every small prairie town has an obelisk set up to remember theirs who had been killed.

It left prairie women in a precarious state of keeping everything running while somehow getting pregnant inbetween, leading to Tommy Douglass, the Canadian leader whom MBA servants of Lucifer hate because it's hard for them to get off when jerking off in his presence.

You're talking like one of those under educated smarty-pant twits with your next step level of education being to learn Chinglish.

You believe what you like. I really don't give a shyte. Most of what you post makes no sense what so ever, so your opinion of me or what I write mean absolutely nothing to me.

If it does not make sense then let me see your logical deconstruction demonstrate that your drug-incorporated piece of Lucifer segment of his dining room table, for in case you had never noticed, there is an entropy pit into which your lord has been put, such that he has to eat pieces of useless retarded pieces of turn like you just to hope for a counterattack.

He thinks when the world gets stupid enough for him to eat enough souls he will get enough to force himself up and out of the pit.

You really should lay off the drugs, and learn how to construct a coherent sentence.

My sentence was grammatically correct, and all the information in it was true, so that means you're one of those super-rich robot AI's they're spending money on to take over the world after being the ones to have depopulated it.

That means your first lesson of idiology came from Genesis.

That is not only a run on sentence but it makes absolutely no sense to anybody but you. I mean, what does: "eat pieces of useless retarded pieces of turn" supposed to mean, anyway?

Who cares if you are pissed? Where on this topic has anyone glorified war? The people who support Remembrance Day are mourning
the tens of thousands of dead Canadian soldiers---a good number of whom hadn't yet seen their twentieth birthday. All the lives they could have lived, all the things they might have done----cut short by a bullet, or an artillery shell that barely left enough to bury. I've seen the rows of crosses from both wars and war leaves nothing to glorify it. I feel nothing but sadness at the terrible waste of young men.

so many young men who enlisted were still teenagers, stepping up to 'help', my brother was one of those young
men (age 17) (world war 2) told them he was 18 so he could join, they found out and held him back till his 18th birthday,
then off he went, overseas.
young men who stepped up knowing they could, and as it turned out would die before they even fired a shot
to defend themselves.

what they all did was honourable, its too bad adolf hitler's name is not mentioned here, the real devil
in disguise in all of this, a sick headed leader who forced all of these thousands of young men and women
to come forward for their countries.

all who died in world war two can point to him as the murderer, as without him leading a country in the
frame of mind of an insane animal, there could have been peace during that time.
on the other side, japan was the attacker, and what should have happened there, just turn the other cheek,
and die, or fight back.

my grandfather was in the boer war, and also world war one, came home and lived till old age.

thats right, who cares if you're pissed off, means nothing to any of us who are remembering and respecting
this day, today, yesterday and in the future.

and as juan said this day is only for honouring and respecting the fallen and all of those who served
and 'stepped up', its not a discussion about supporting war or not.

that should be on a different thread, it is different subject, and can be discussed all year if you want,
but is not suitable in this thread, you are spitting on the dead, even the innocent you mention, as they
most likely were part of the civilians who were being fought for, who's freedoms were at stake, and they
also died for their countries, sadly, it is all very sad, but in many cases, necessary.

those young men, (teenagers and young adults) who died, have not had a life to live, as you have, they
gave their life for 'you' to live a better life, and you do, be thankful for that, if nothing else.

People that do this sort of thing love when others defend them.

Simplistic is your belief that anyone thinks that.
First off, this is a strawman. It has nothing to do with anything. Second: Who refused to accept the boat load of Jews that ended up in some of these camps? Germany probably would have sent more boat loads if the first one had have found a home, so the allies were complicit with the death toll in those camps. We did not go there to liberate anybody.

Dead jews are strawmen? Have you been staring at too many holocaust photos?

The US and Canada both refused boatloads of Jewish people because they were unable to perceive that Germany was actually exterminating gypsyies, disabled people and Jews. People ended up in the death camps because Germans rounded them up and put them onto death trains. Germany, at no time, was sending boats to other countries.

Lberation? Complicit in death camps? When were you born? It sounds like you are ignorant of recent history.

Gerry, knowing that you have reputation for being generally disagreeable on Christmas and Remembrance Day, why would you start a thread about your well known disagreement with solemn events?

I could disappear from now until Christmas, sign on Christmas day, and you would be pissing on the event just like today. It's understandable that you have strong feeling about a couple of the days in the year - everybody has a birthday, after all - but why is it that you piss all over Armistace Day and Christmas? Didn't you make a family or what?

You'd best check your history on that. Start with the Evian Conference.

Canada took some 5000 odd Jewish refugees if they had money but thanks to xenophobia King said "no more". There were the same issues regarding immigration that we have during today's financial unrest.

We even had the similar policies against the Jews regarding, jobs, business ownnership and property ownership.

When the MS St Louis ( the ship of Jews refused entry) sailed from Hamburg our policy was already set.

There are even books about it. "None Is Too Many" should be manditory reading in high school.

You're preaching to the choir.

Agreed. Although I would suggest a much better representation of Canadian history, should be mandatory in public schools.

Far too many in the choir sing off key or mumble the words of the hymn that befuddle them.

I know you have the gist of things and don't get your history from John Wayne movies.

It would be nice if more people read books.
