Correction of the post #19:
"which even led to the distortion of the base lines of the belied" the word 'belied' has been a mistake; the correct word is 'belief'; so the correct sentence is:
"which even led to the distortion of the base lines of the belief"
i.e. the distortions in the Bible led to the distortion of the principles of belief to become something like idolatry, when they claimed the Christ is the son of God or God Himself,
And when they have wrong ideas about God's prophets:
