You questioned the Conservatives at their own convention? I'm not surprised that they kicked you out.
actually it was not a convention it was some kind of breakfast fund raiser for the conservative party, as I recall,I had driven to breakfast like o430 in the morning to attend,as I recall I had questions for the Justice Minister and the Solicitor general,if not questions some clarity on a case I was working on,
I thought in all my naiveness these individuals would be happy to at least inquire about the deficits I had audited within ,unfortunately I was verbally abused,and physically threatened,this was a great turning point for me,my auditing then advanced to higher meaning.
i am not use to men physically threatening women,never have been,never will.
i recall my fear level elevated at that time,realizing I was on my own.

it all seems like practical thinking now,but in reality i thought they would have been happy with the news i was bringing,this was before i knew about poltical influences in shaping agendas,behaviours,etc.
i thought my information would assist with management strategies,i had worked hard for this information,i was happy to share the wealth,i was happy to serve my country,
being physcially threatened was the last thing on my mind,i thought i was helping the party.
i always took a membership out,sometimes cancelling it immediatly after my agendas were fullfilled.
