A few months ago, I had a struggling college student come through my till. She only had about $25.00 worth of groceries. Maybe a little less - I can't remember. She was quickly digging around in her purse to get the money and she did have it and she got it out. As soon as she did, the woman behind her handed me her own debit card and asked me to use it to pay for the young woman's groceries. The young student was taken back and very grateful. They did not know each other. I see people throw change down for a person all the time if someone is either short a dime or a quarter but I have never seen anyone pay for someone else's order before that.Today, my wife, daughter and I went through a Starbucks drive thru. When we got to the window we were advised that the lady ahead of us paid for our stuff as a random act of kindness. Pretty cool.
Pay It Forward is probably one of the best shows I've ever seen. Loved that show.
