I heard him being mentioned ALMOST as much as the President at being at fault on all the channels I was flipping through. FOX, MSNBC, ABC, CNN... I was going back and forth.

Sorry if you were glued to the local Minnesota channel.

Google Harry Reid Election 2014... Boom... you'll be able to choose.

Lovely! I do hope that that is the message. All the die hard libs are repeating that now... we did not support Obama or his policies enough. Or we did not go further left or progressive enough.

PLEASE... convince as many of your peeps to take this line and the GOP may just have a shot at the Presidency.

Thank you for directing me to Google which did have some links which showed some commentators blamed Reid as you said. But there are far more which put the blame on Obama.

As for what part of the blame goes to the stupid campaigns run by the Democrats, I am hardly alone in my criticism of their ρussy politics:

Dear Democratic Party Are You Ready To Fight Yet?

Reality Check for Democrats: Republicans Sell Lies Better Than You Tell the Truth

When you walk into a boxing match, you don't do so with an arm or two tied behind your back like those prissies did. That's what I have said all along and that's what these commentators have done as well.

Good stuff eh?

Yes and I agree... it was the policies of the administration.

And I encourage you and all the Democrats to get out there and really say what you feel. That way the GOP just might have a chance at beating Hillary in 2016.

It was that "F*** you all we won so suck it!" attitude after the 2008 Elections that created the Tea Party Movement.

Is that what did it? Resentment at being patronised?

So all that grandiose bullsh*t about government and taxes and the Constitution was just window dressing, and the teabaggers were just a bunch of butthurt losers?

Thanks for confirming that.

Hey, go red-flag Eagle, Walter. He's the one who said it.

Actually, it was Bush's TARP that was the spark for the Tea Party. BHO just fanned the flames.

A combination of both T-Bones. Screw you... we won and we'll do what we want. We are your rulers.

Nice attempt to twist though. I've forgotten that one needs to spell out every detail to you or be prepared to duck an arrow from your direction.

Kerry needs to get his azz out of the ME. From reading democraticunderground and dailykos I saw where many libs abandoned the Obama administration and called him too pro war. This undoubtedly led to the loss of many votes.

Here in Gopherland the voter turnout was expected to be from 56 to 60%. But it was only 50%. Many libs did not show up to vote as was expected. Luckily, however, Governor Mark Dayton and Senator Al Franken (like my Congresswoman Bety McCollum and two other locals) did one VERY important things that Democrats failed to do throughout the USA: they campaigned on their record.

Unlike the jackazzes who abandoned President Obama and shied away from his many accomplishments, these Minnesotans spoke up and affirmed their voting record. They stood on principle and dared their opponents to answer why they shouldn't have done so. By standing on principle, they won. Had the rest of the Dem party dimwits done the same, FAR more would have won.

I hope the next election they campaign on Obama's record. Each and every one of the Democrat candidates. Get out on that stump and say they were with the President every step of the way.

And Gopher... bragging about MN candidates winning in MN is like me bragging about Democrats winning in Massachusetts. They are easy wins for the Democrats.

Neither state was in play.

The way things are going nowadays don't be too surprised if he is impeached and out of office before the next election.

I bet you'd love for him to be impeached. The Democrats seem to be aching for it. I wonder why?

That's just plain ole mean

C'mon... they need to get fired up and scream from every corner. They stood for Obama and if they go to Washington that they will continue Obama's work and carry out his legacy. I am so hoping they will. ;)

That seems to be the rallying cry.

Not really. So far, I've only seen the TPs talking about it and you never know what they will be up to next. While they were somewhat subdued during the campaigning, there is no doubt that they added some numbers on the side of the GOP so they did help, not hurt as was predicted by some. Case in point: McConnell. Initially it was thought his career was doomed by the TPs but his supporters were actually galvanized in their fight against these extremists. Thereafter he easily won over Grimes who made a huge mistake in abandoning Obama.

I hear mostly Democrats talking about Obama being impeached. Almost like they want it so they have a political martyr going into 2016.

The Tea Party understood that they have been unfairly demonized by the liberals and liberals are good at out shouting and putting conservatives on the defensive.

The Kentucky race was supposed to be close. The MSM formed that in the news. The reality was that McConnell crushed Grimes and it wasn't close at all. I was so happy to see the Democrats big money squandered away on a race that they had no shot at.

Not really.

In case you weren't aware, Franken initially won his seat by only about 78 votes and there were two recounts until Coleman conceded the election. Dayton replaced a Republican - one who increased the state deficit by over a billion, cost the state thousands of job, and caused a big decline in the infrastructure. Franken and Dayton have done a great job. The lies and attack ads used by their opponents did not work because they stood by their records.

Gopherland is a lot more conservative than most people think. True, the Twin Cities are largely liberal. But the suburbs and out lying areas are very Republican.

I just checked the map... one of the Bluest states. Its not that hard for a Democrat to win in MN.
