Canada became a country in 1867. Native Americans had little influence on confederation, since by this time, the country was predominantly European.

Full stop right there.

Cause... the ignorance of this first sentence just baffles me to the point I realize now anything else you say is just absolute BS to fit your point of view.

If you're going to post ignorant screed, I just can't bother with it.

Pigeon on, Blissful.

Europeans came over, defeated the Natives,

Wow... are you ignorant of Canadian history. That wasn't quite how it went at first. But then I suppose we should ask - which European nation are you talking about?

and made Canada what it is today. If you cannot handle a historical fact, then I feel sorry for you.

Actually no they didn't. Not alone. British, French and Native Co-operation at times made the basics for what Canada would become. Then came other countries...

Why do you think Canada is one of the top destinations for citizens of third world countries? Our standard of living and quality of life is among the best in the World.

That's one reason. Another is that we have a reputation of being open to most people from other places and people of other faiths, and refugees coming here to get away from war, famine, etc. etc.

I consider myself Native, as my ancestors have been here since the 17th century (Dads side were loyalists from England). If you have a problem with that, you kiss my White ass :)

Sorry, I don't kiss anyone's ass, white or otherwise.

And I don't care what color it is, either. In the end, it's still the source of shit just like everyone else's is.

What about you, Serryah. What's your ethnic background and when did your family come here? Since you play the "Natives were here first" card, I can do the same with you.

I would say it doesn't matter, but you won't accept that, cause you're on this high horse of superiority :)

Native's were here first. Thousands of years first. Some indo-Asian or Europeans also came from time to time, depending on the records. We know Norse/Viking landed in Newfoundland, but likely they also showed earlier in history as well. And then there's Polynesians...

But the tribes of NA were here first. Or does that fact not jive with you?

There's Scottish, Irish, English and possible Native in my family background.

Not sure what it all proves really.

Europeans came over here and made it what it is today. True but it's missing a whole lot. Europeans came over here and between their greed for land and their diseases nearly wiped out the native populations. That made it easy for them to make it what it is and through hundreds of years of subjugating everyone else, too. So now, what North Americans live under is corporatist governance.
YAY profits and curses for being generous and sharing excess.

You are a head case, Wally. She is indigenous and much more Canadian than you'll ever be.
A Canadian is a Canadian . She is just a person no better and no worse then any other .

SHUT UP.

Nobody wants to hear you whine.

Maybe take your own advice, Mr. Man.

Gods know you're whining about how every single Muslim is a horrible person - oh, sorry, groups of Muslims are horrible people - is just as stupid as the rest of your screed.

Once again, how is that different than your hatred towards Christians?

Pot, meet kettle...

Again, correction.

I hate extremist Christians.

And extremist Muslims.

And extremist any religion.

So... big difference, since you seem to hate Muslims in groups of 10 plus, regardless of whether they deserve it or not.

That is what they all say, when they get called out on their anti-Christian hypocrisy.

Well considering when I showed you otherwise, you told me to 'calm down', lol.

And I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-extremist Christian. Big difference.

Alt-right Christians and right wing evangelicals are not Christians. They are the exact opposite to what Jesus and the bible taught. Girth sounds just like one of those fake christians.

In the end that's my point.

If Extreme Christians aren't "Christians", then the Extreme Muslims aren't Islamic, either.

As there are peaceful sects to both religions as well as not so peaceful, you cannot deny one and approve the other.

That is an excellent post, Cliffy. You completed a post, without the use of irrelevant memes.
However, it is factually incorrect. I am agnostic. I just cannot stand the hypocrisy of the progressive left.
That makes us equal. I can't stand the hypocrisy of the alt-right.

So question for you.

Why is extreme/fundamentalist/right leaning or whatever you want to call it Islam horrible/evil, but you have no problem defending the same bend in Christianity?

It’s funny how atheists know who is a Christian.
