Quebec’s Ministry of Health and Social Services made an epic mistake this week when a link intended to point to the latest COVID-19 figures in La Belle Province instead took confused clickers to a popular porn site.
The link directed people to a Pornhub foot-fetish video, entitled, “Femdom foot worship.”
The faux-pas wasn’t recognized for 30 minutes last Thursday. The department, which is also known as Santé Quebec, deleted the tweet and apologized to its more than 100,000 followers for the mistake.
“Due to a situation beyond our control, a link with inappropriate content was posted on our Twitter account. We are looking for the causes. We are sorry for the inconvenience,” read the apology.
