Ah my friend, let me give you a little hand in the english language and help you rephrase the title.

Lesson 1: Proper usage of the word "suck(s)"

1)Simply change the Quebec in "Quebec Sucks" to Canada.
2)Do so by first erasing the word Quebec through the use of delete button that is on your keyboard. You can change your title by editing your post.
3) Now place the word "Canada" in front of the word "sucks" without touching the word "sucks"
4) So far you now have the words "Canada" and "Sucks", now we try to connect the two.
5) Be sure that there exists a space between the two words to avoid being jumbled up like this : "CanadaSucks".
6) So move mouse coursor and click between the leters "A" and "S". So at the end it should look like this: "Canada Sucks".

Common Error 101: When in Canada, many people use the word "suck" inappropriatley by putting a random word with it.
In example: " This Dish Sucks!", "The weather Sucks","This vehicle Sucks","The taxes Suck","medicare Sucks".

Most new people to Canada forget the fact that if on Canadian soil, the word "suck" must be used in a different manner. So the correct way to say all of the above is this: "Canada Sucks". The Dish sucks because you are eating on Canadian soil. Vehicles fail because they are not compatible for use in Canada. Medicare and tax systems suck because the people who run them are well............. Canadian..... Also the weather sucks because the Canadians are always ploting something evil. So when they laugh "muahahaha", the skies usually cloud up and rain and thunder.

This condition of the word Suck applies only if you are on Canadian soil. The word "suck" maybe used more freely if you step outside of Canada. So you can say "this dish sucks" because it is not the whole country's fault. But if you are eating that dish in Canada then the whole country has blame.

Lesson 1 complete.

You really do wear your love on your sleeve, you know. If you really did not love Canada and Canadians you would not show such a blatant and constant desire to be loved in return, you would not hang around a Canadian forum trying so hard to be noticed, "Look at me! Look at me!" Yes, yes, we are looking, and are very touched by your loneliness. Eventually perhaps you will drop this ineffective facade and show us your true self. I, for one, look forward to it.

Didn't he say he's been here since he was 2? That would make him more Canadian than anything else, regardless of his passport, wouldn't it? Otherwise, his parents did a poor job of appreciating all their adopted country has to offer.

Yeah, he can always go back to where he came from. Canada would be so much better off without losers like this.

He/She must think their parents are idiots for ever bringing him/her to Canada to a so called "better life".

Nothing keeping you here, now run along little boy.

I am from Vancouver and I have been to Montreal many times, I am even relocating there in 2 weeks. I have great experiences in Montreal, and I have not had any problems with the French/English barrier. I think that we as Canadians have an opportunity to embrace new cultures if we are open to it.

The problem with Quebec is that when you go there, you have to actually have an open mind, and be willing to accept that the culture might actually be different from the place you came from.

Unfortunately, many people seem unable to make this great leap. Their loss, in fact, but I wish they would be quiet about it.

Some are, but there are just as many, percentage-wise, who are morons in their own way.

And usually, the more assinine their viewpoint, the more vocal they are.

I think you can say that from most of the places in the world, each country has its own culture. And generally, the ones with closed minds are the ones not travelling, if you like to travel, surely you are open minded to a certain point. But it's not a language difference that would stop me from travelling to another country.

and your right we are different from you for a lot of things
we have not the same culture, the same language and a different way of thinking

yes because in Quebec we don't piss on people from other countries with no reason, without knowing what they have suffered in their past. yes i speak freanch but i'd also learn english. sure my english is not perfect but when i meet someone who's talking english i'm not so dumb to talk to i'm in french, i have some respect for other culture. and even when i've done a trip to states,i founded all the american people i met really nice.
I also know two guy that were from vancouver and they really enjoy living in quebec and they are trying to learn french and they said to me that it was hard because all the french people they are speaking to talk to them in english so at the end they don't praticing.

Nice input there ermenegil.

Well guess what? I'm also a French-speaking Quebecer and a separatist. I vote for the Parti Québécois and for the Bloc Québécois. When I travel and people ask me where I'm from, I say : "Quebec". But despite all that, I don't start forums called "Ontario Sucks" or "Canada Sucks" and I don't tell a bunch of lies about Anglophones. People don't realize that the Quebec separatist movement is neither based on hatred, racism nor anything like that. It's not that we hate you guys, but we don't feel like we're a part of Canada. Coming back to the subject, this forum is incredibly immature and even racist to some extent (ironic, eh ?). Hopefully, I don't think the same way that you do, meaning, just because a few English-Canadians (you) say stupid dumb unfounded things about Quebec, I'm not going to go out and say : "Canadians are racists and disdainful toward Quebecers. Canada sucks."

Seriously, grow up.

OH NO! ANOTHER QUEBECER REPLY!

Yeah, I'm also a Quebecer. Not a "French-Canadian" nor Canadian. I come from Quebec, I was born there, raised there and still living there. I still can't figure out why English-Canadians (hopefully, not ALL of them) have to be on our back. I've travelled a lot during my (short) life and people in Europe and South-America were really open minded. Even in the United-States (despite their hatred for the french people) pleople were gentle. I was pretty surprised when I got to Ottawa the first time of my life: I got out of the bus and I asked to my friend what time it was IN FRENCH and some guy just shouted: GO BACK TO YOUR KWÉBEK (litteral traduction) YOU F*CKING FROGS, IF I WASN'T IN A CIVILISED CITY I'D KICK YOUR ASS!!!
Man...I LOVE CANADA!!!!!

I seriously think that if everybody in the world was like that random dude, everything would be great ain,t it? Anyway, I was pretty surprised but I didn't generalised because I thought that it was only an exception. BUT, when I got to Ottawa (BTW: Aren't there two official languages in Canada? English AND French???) I went into a coffee shop where, in the front door, there was a little sign saying "ENGLISH/FRANÇAIS COFFEE SHOP". I entered, went to the counter and ask the girl : Un café au lait s'il-vous-plaît. The girl automatically replied: Talk in english so I can understand you. I denied and asked it again in french. The poor girl, confused, went to see her boss or manager, whatever you people call it. The guy went straight to me and said: Ask your order in english so we can serve you. I looked at the dude and just laughed my ass off. As confused as the girl, the boss look at me like I came from Mars. I told him in french that that coffee shop wasn't supposed to be bilingual. He replied: It is only because we are obligaged.

DUDEEEEEEE WHERE ARE WE??????? WHY CAN'T WE UNDERSTAND OURSELVES IN THE SAME COUNTRY!!!! I learn french and english to be able to talk to someone if he don't talk my language. We, Quebecers, make the effort to learn english to be able to converse with you guys. You make fun of our accent, of how we talk in english but fuck! YOU DON'T EVEN TAKE THE TIME TO LEARN AT LEAST TWO SENTENCES IN FRENCH OTHER THAN "VOULEZ-VOUS COUCHEZ AVEC MOI CE SOIR!!! And what a dumb sentence!!! If you english guys want to dig some french chicks, learn other words than those ones. I know that there is a lot of English-Canadians that are actually learning french, I'm not adressing this to them, I'm adressing it to you, the un-knowing stupid, uncultured simple "Canadian". Even the word "Canada" was used by the french coloniser (if this is the right word) to define themselves. You should be called English-Canadians and us, simply Canadians. If you haven't had the courage to read this all, it is maybe because you are a bit like the stereotypes we, Quebecers, are relied to.

If you had read all of this, I hope you understood something. If not, write to me!
