Oh you POOR FOOLISH Muslim! Since you obviously have no understanding of western thought or ideas even though you apparently live among us, let me explain it to you in small words you will understand: We will not encourage ANY change in the status of the Palestinian Authority until some conditions are met. These conditions include making some sort of honest lasting peace with Israel.
You must also abandon the Right Of Return since you cannot send out waves of suicide bombers to maim and kill civilians in market places and on buses and then expect the survivors to trust you and let you move your bomb making equipment into the house next door. You must give up your dream of driving all Israelis into the sea and must prove that you have honestly given up that dream and are not simply following Yassir Arafat style thinking-that each Israeli peace concession will be a stepping stone to the next Palestinian demand until Israel has nothing more to give and can be erased.
We do accept that you have some legitimate claims and we expect Israel to make sensible concessions with honest Arab leaders but we also believe that Israelis have claims of their own and we will make no demands of Israel until Palestinians demonstrate a real desire for peace. And, since it was Great Britain that paid the price in gold and blood to liberate the Middle Eastern lands from Ottoman Turks we believe Britain had the right to set up the two state situation that you so despise and refuse to accept.
You may ask: by what right do Canadians pass judgement on people living on the other side of the world? Simple, we don’t like bullies and we don’t like thugs and you have stained your cause with your endless atrocities against civilians. We believe the British two state solution was the best available (among various hard choices) and we think you are now being pig headed and stubborn by refusing any sensible compromise. And since you are being so stubborn we don’t feel obligated to throw money or sympathy at you; rather, we feel you will benefit from plain talk about your wrong headed position!
Our aid is for those who are NOT the architects of their own troubles. After all, there would be no freedom for you and no lands to fight over if the British had not fought so hard to defeat your enemies and give you the much desired freedom from the Ottomans in the first place!

Within this shifting environment, two-thirds of Canadians (68%) say they view Christianity favourably, but this number drops by ten points for the next closest faith – Buddhism. Approximately half say the same of Judaism and Hinduism, while far fewer are positive about Islam and Sikhism:

I understood. I just meant that since even Iran allows uncovered faces, it makes it harder to argue that Islam requires a Muslim woman to cover her face, and so making it more difficult to argue that it's a religious obligation.

No I don't. far from it. But if as fanatical a country as Iran allows women to not cover their faces, then it's hard to imagine that Islam requires women to cover their faces.
Actually most Muslim nations do not require women to cover their faces. Some don't even require them to wear any head gear.
Perhaps you should be dropping the term fanatical as it is only the Pentegram brass and Israeli Politicians that label the fanatics, . . . and you.
