It's the law of God for Islam. When a government adopt the laws of Muhammad. A good example is women getting splashed with acid. That's one example. Under Shari law one man is worth two women in the eye of the law. ETc....
I think there is a possibility that yes.
Even if it was only 60%. That's still 180 000 Muslims here in Canada that think it's acceptable.
Let's phone every Muslim in Canada and ask them if they would like Sharia here in Canada. If 90% of the Muslim population says yes. Then we know we have a huge problem in our hands.

The survey [conducted by the MacDonald Laurier Institute], which was released Tuesday, found 62% [of Muslims] wanted some form of Shariah law in Canada, 15% of them saying it should be mandatory for all Muslims.
The report also states support for extremism is just as high among Muslims born in Canada, or other Western countries, as it is among those hailing from oppressive dictatorships.[19]

I find that very alarming. 15% of them want full enforcement of sharia law 65% support some form of sharia law. Extremists being as high here as it is in countries that already sports sharia law is also a other very alarming find for me.
