Lax or not, I don't care (although I'm not claiming it is anyway). Bottom line for me is he should not be out on the streets after what he did to his children. That's reprehensible.

I don't think he was ever a nutbar. I think he just got away with murder. A lot of murderers are no longer a danger to society once their intended target is murdered.
