Nobody should shut the hell up. All possibilities are fair game in the arena of ideas. That is why I say I don't believe in anything but the possibility of everything. 150 years or so ago Jules Verne wrote what has become to be known as science fiction and just about everything he wrote about has come into reality. Most science fiction is an extrapolation of what is known projected into the future. What we dream up today will become tomorrows reality. That is the power of the mind.

Hi Cliffy: Last fall 2010 I went into stage 4 liver failure and ended up in hospital. Husband took time off work to say his goodbyes and spend what seemed the last days of my life with me. Was offered a liver transplant but refused because I think if a major organ goes then so I must too. They didn't think I would last a few days but am writing this now over 1 year later and I still have the liver I was born with. I chose not to believe in what the doctors were saying to me. i do suspect I would have died if I did so. When husband was 21 he suffered devastating injury to left lower leg; the foot was turned backwards and bones were sticking out. another soccer player put his foot through hubby's leg. He was told by doctors he would never walk again. He refused to believe them and after 2 years began to run (sometimes 25 miles at a time) and play soccer (he belonged to 3 teams simultaneously at one time). He played up to 47 years of age then retired from it as he didn't care for any more injuries. The doctors are too quick to give negative prognosis. Unfortunately, many people believe them and die when they did not have to; or did not walk again. Sad. Glad you didn't listen Cliffy.
