Russia Says 'Hotline' with Israel Set Up to Avoid Syria Sky Clashes — Naharnet

The best is yet to come.
Farsnews (in part)
TEHRAN (FNA)- ISIL Leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been transferred to Turkey for treatment through a series of coordination measures by the CIA after the notorious terrorist leader was severely injured in the Iraqi army's airstrike on his convoy in Western Anbar province, media reports disclosed on Wednesday.

Al-Baghdadi was injured in the Iraqi airstrike on his convoy on Sunday and was transferred to another place by his forces, the spokesman said.
He also said that 25 other ISIL terrorists who were accompanying al-Baghdadi were killed in the airstrike.
Arabic-language media outlets said a special unit of Iraq's air force known as the Falcons who have so far managed to kill several ISIL leaders in various operations, including an efficient attack on a number of top terrorist commanders on June 1, has done the airstrike.
Several ISIL commanders were killed in the June airstrike, including Abu Hareth Al-Shami, Abu Aeshe al-Ansari - an explosives expert - Moroccan national Abu Yousef Al-Jezrawi, Abu Hussein Al-Salmani who was in charge of ISIL's Zakah (an Islamic tax system) issues, and Wa'd al-Latif Jom'eh al-Mohammadi who was in charge of ISIL's suicide operation agents.

The US navy scurried out of the gulf why?

Knowing the Russian projectiles' accuracy, even if I were Russia's greatest friend and ally and Putin were in love with me, I'd still scurry out of the gulf too as would anyone else with any sense.

I pity the poor Russian soldier who has to hold his ground lest he be tried for defection while Russian projectiles are flying overhead. It would be like a game of Russian roulette. It would only take a few launches before a surviving soldier starts to suffer shell shock.

Then again, if their bullets are as accurate as their missiles, nearby soldiers would likely have more to worry about than the defector facing the firing squad.

Russians aren't stupid though. They'd probably use a regiment for the purpose. At least one bullet would be bound to hit its mark.

Well said!

And the Russian soldiers are smart enough to stay at the base and let the Iranians and Syrian soldiers lead the way. Especially while their cruise missiles and bombs are dropping all over the place. Oh then they'll steal oil. :)

I was mostly jesting in my last few posts for humour's sake.

I will say this: I'd vote for Putin as Prime Minister of Canada any day of the week. He's a smart man and a skilled strategist to boot.

For him, patience is a virtue. He also seems to understand what I'll refer to here as military economics and military efficiency. Observe how over all these years he sat on the sidelines letting us waste all of our money on war in the Middle East only to sweep in to take the victory when we're financially broke.

He also understands public relations. Notice how he took Crimea only after a British referendum in the Falkland Islands, limiting himself to a predominantly ethnically Russian part of Crimea where he knew he would win a referendum and then calling one, able to apply the UK's democratic rationale to itself. Even with that, he'd entered Crimea only once Ukraine was on the verge of political collapse, thus not only eliminating military resistance but also, in his usual PR fashion, legitimizing his incursion into Ukrain as a service to Ukraine's Russophones to protect them from the chaos around them and then exploiting Ukrainian ethnic russophobia to further legitimize the need to protect Ukrainian Russians from Ukrainian russsophobia.

Alternatively, he brings international law onside. He legitimizes the legality of his Syrian campaign by being invited in by the Syrian regime and Iraq might soon invite him in too.

Unlike the West, Putin does not start a war the outcome of which he is unsure. He studies, consults, explores, researches, meditates on the matter until he knows for sure whether he can win it and at what cost. If he can't win it efficiently, he won't go there. He fights only if all the facts tell him that he can win quickly.

Maybe Canada should invite him to teach his wisdom to our PM. The lesson is, don't start a war the outcome of which is uncertain except in national self defence of your country.

Another thing I admire about Putin: he's very soft-spoken, at least in translation anyway. He always refers to even his foes as 'our friends in the West,' always showing willingness for friendship, and always reminding the media of the legality of his actions when they are, denying illegal actions that are proven, and blatantly going against international law when he knows that a democratic referendum will legitimize the action quickly enough.

How quick is quickly?

Quick like eastern Ukraine?

Major oil reserves discovered on Golan Heights | UJFT & TJF

Wed, 10/07/2015 - 8:24am
JERUSALEM (JTA) — Oil reserves that reportedly could provide for Israel’s needs for many years has been found on the Golan Heights.
The reserves were found in the southern Golan following a year of drilling, the Afek Oil and Gas company announced Tuesday.
“We are talking about significant quantities,” Yuval Bartov, Afek’s chief geologist, told Channel 2 News. “The important thing is to know the oil is in the rock and that’s what we now know.”
The rock could potentially hold billions of barrels and provide for all of Israel’s oil needs for many years, according to Channel 2. Israel consumes 270,000 barrels of oil per day, according to the report.

I think he is complex: he had a divorce experience.
Anyhow, I think he is a dangerous man; God is the All-Knowing.
It needs a lunatic to ignite the first spark.

Begin! They've already been driven back once. lol
That is why the term 'final bid' is used, take a wake-up pill.

Considering what God has in store for the earth a 'spark' is about all we can muster of the fire that melts the whole earth.

A less apocalyptic ending may be healthy. So here’s a popular joke in Moscow nowadays, as told by William Engdahl. Putin is back in the Kremlin after his meeting with Obama in New York. He tells an aide he invited Obama for a game of chess. And then he tells it how it works: “It’s like playing with a pigeon. First it knocks over all the pieces, then it sh its on the board and finally struts around like it won.”

Russia doesn't have a choice but to exterminate the American-backed terrorist rebels in Syria.
