What will Toronto do?.....Mel died, so no one to call the army. Tory wouldn't think of it.

Police say military aid, court order might be needed to end demonstration.

According to The Weather Network, “Thursday will be the calm before the next snowstorm in southern Ontario, as the next far-reaching system threatens to impact Friday commute times.”

The Weather Network says “5-10 cm is expected for the region, though the setup includes lake enhancement for the west and east end of Lake Ontario. Local amounts could potentially add up to as much as 20 cm by the time it winds down later Friday.”

The downside, other than the obvious if you don’t like snow, is that “commute times will likely be jeopardized for most, with winter weather travel advisories spanning much of the region.”

It says the snow will “push into the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) through the overnight period, when snowfall rates will pick up. The snow will continue to spread east Friday morning, when it’s expected to be at its heaviest, making for a tricky commute. Amounts of 5-10 cm expected along the 401 corridor.”

The Weather Network says “the snowfall should be a little fluffier, so it will accumulate faster on the ground. Winter weather travel advisories span the region urging drivers to adjust travel plans accordingly. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow and visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in periods of heavy snow.”
