As the search for the perfect, gender-neutral pronoun continues, Merriam-Webster has announced they'll include "they" as a third-person singular pronoun.

I love all the "xe," "er," "himr," and other made-up pronouns!

We've had the generic third person (and first-person) pronoun all along! "One."

Or, as we used to say in Oklahoma, "a body."

Ugh... I hate the xe, er or himr thing.

They has ALWAYS been a pronoun for people in the singular or plural.

Why? The MX is a high-tech intercontinental ballistic missile.

It's the sender's way of admiring what a badass you are!

Isn’t it amazing what upsets some folks. I’d just throw it in the recycling if I didn’t want it.
