It is the way the headline is displayed. A better line would have been a prominent campaign Treasurer
has been arrested. In the opening paragraph in the body of the story could have clarified the story by
saying the Treasurer who happens to be a Democrat, stole from members of the party and the party
itself, that would have brought some integrity to the story. The Democrats weren't stealing the Treasurer
who was a democrat was stealing. It is not the headline its the connotation of the headline.
It is like always identifying with Chavez in some negative light before proceeding with the story
The reason nothing Chavez could do would be right. The fact is, he gave the poor the vote something
that didn't happen before he came to power. All those poor people had a voice and they have used it
like Chavez or not, he is a legitimate President.
The same holds true in the campaign treasurer\s case. Its not a big deal its just that I question the way
it was put forward. Probably because I spent a lot of years in the media and watched a lot of headlines
go by. The headline and the story do not flow.
