Pro-Palestine protester scales Big Ben

A pro-Palestine protester scaled Big Ben this morning and unveiled a Palestinian flag.

The man - whose feet are bloodied - has been up there for 11 hours and concerns have been raised as to how he was able to breach security.



Officially named the Elizabeth Tower, Big Ben is part of the British Houses of Parliament and is one of the most famous symbols of Great Britain. Big Ben is the name of the giant bell within it but is also the nickname for the tower itself.

What's amazing was how he managed to even climb up it, and without safety gear.
