Seeing that "Clark" and "Clarke" are two different names, it might just be a possibility (that perhaps didn't occur to you) that they are two different people! :lol:

Not wising to change the subject, but JLM's comment reminded me that the Defence Minister MacKay's name is derived from Mac Aedh - son of Aedh. Aedh is the Celtic god of death. Hmmmmm....not a good moniker for defence.

My birth certificate and passport have my full first name, my middle name and my last name.

My drivers licence and every other piece of documentation has the shortened first name.

At work, and if I was to run for office, I use the short form of my first name and my last name dropping the middle.

All the names you listed are the same name and quite irrelevant to anything.
