The autopsy found porn star August Ames died of asphyxiation last December about a week before Christmas.
The 23-year-old Canadian sexxx-rated superstar hanged herself in a park in the suburban San Fernando Valley, police said.
But a new podcast, The Last Days of August, is fingering Twitter trolls and a rival porn queen as the bile-spewers who put the Nova Scotia native in the grave.
“I lost the woman I love to a bunch of people’s stupid opinions on social media,” her husband, porn producer Kevin Moore, is quoted in the audio as saying. “So am I just supposed to roll over?”

So he turned to British journalist Jon Ronson to find out what really happened.
Ames, whose real name was Mercedes Grabowski, started in California’s X-rated industry when she was 19 and was soon a legitimate porn star, garnering more than 600,000 Twitter followers.
She appeared in nearly 300 scenes including appearances in Bikini Sex Dolls, Cute Little Babysitter 5, and Interracial Surrender 6.
But when she made controversial comments about gay porn actors that triggered social justice Twitter warriors, Ames was attacked relentlessly.
On Dec. 3, 2017 she tweeted: “Whichever (lady) performer is replacing me tomorrow for @EroticaXNews, you’re shooting with a guy who has shot gay porn, just to let cha know. BS is all I can say. Do agents really not care about who they’re representing? #ladirect I do my homework for my body.”

Bisexual Ames declared in the wake of the brouhaha that she loved the gay community, but she still was pummeled on social media as homophobic.
Two days later, she was dead.
In a media release promoting the podcast, Ronson said he soon heard “rumours and secrets hinting at a very different story — something mysterious and unexpected and terrible.”
Among those he interviewed was starlet Jessica Drake, who the dead woman’s husband blamed as behind the mobbing.

In tears, Drake says on the podcast: “Somebody has to help me.”
At the Adult Video News Awards in March, Moore told Rolling Stone that the porno biz holds a tractor-trailer load of dirty secrets.
“The business side doesn’t want to acknowledge it because it’s not sexy. The industry wants to stick its head in the sand and just hope it all goes away,” Moore said.

The cause of death for porn star Jessica Jaymes has been revealed.
As The Blast reported, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has determined the star died after suffering from a massive seizure.
The star reportedly had a history of seizures, but in this particular instance the report says her “chronic ethanol abuse” over the years contributed to her death.
According to reports, prescription drugs were also discovered at the scene.
Toxicology tests have been taken, but details on whether the actress had alcohol or any other substance in her system at the time she passed have not yet been released.
The coroner’s report also confirms the death was “natural” despite the fact that it was somewhat self-induced.
The adult film star was found dead in her San Fernando Valley home on Sept. 17. She was 43 years old.
At the time, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department told Radar they had responded to call about “a cardiac arrest on an approximately 40-year-old female.”
Sources told The Blast her James’ estranged husband Nadir Maraschin was concerned after days without hearing from her. He stopped by her home to check on her, only to find her unconscious body.
Jaymes did not leave a will, but Maraschin has filed legal documents requesting to be the administrator of her estate, which will give him access to her royalties and the authority to handle the funeral and other posthumous affairs.
Jaymes, born Jessica Michael Redding, starred in over 200 adult film’s since starting her career in the porn industry at 24. She also made television appearances on “The Howard Stern Show,” “Weeds,” and “VH1’s Celebrity Rehab Sober House.”

A porn star who had been battling terminal cancer has apparently taken her own life, cops say.

Dahlia Sky — a 10-year veteran of the smut industry — was found shot in the head in a parked car in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley on June 30.
LAPD Det. Dave Peteque told Adult Video News (AVN) suicide is “what the investigation is leaning towards, and there’s no evidence at this time that there’s any foul play.”
Friends told AVN that the 31-year-old star of more than 600 sex videos — including Always Dahlia Sky, Sisters of Anarchy, and This Ain’t Terminator XXX — had been in a deep depression over her battle with stage four breast cancer.
Producer Hans said the battle impacted her mental health.
“During her last year, I spoke to her several times about life. It was not an easy ride for her,” he said. “This will take a long time to get over, if it’s even possible. Dahlia Sky, you beautiful soul, you funny, complicated, and warm-hearted friend! I am going to miss you so much.”

Lisina, 29, ditched her career in porn last year and was anxious to “start a family,” her boyfriend told Russian media.
She entered the porn world under Kris the Foxx after a career in banking. But in an interview last year, she made a shocking confession.
“I began to think about porn at the age of only 13. It was when I watched porn for the first time,” Lisina said. “I was watching and thinking: ‘Guys, you are doing it all wrong.’ And then time passed and life got me here.
“I got what I had been dreaming about.”
When she died, Lisina was clutching a coin and a mystery message. Russian police are still investigating.
