You're getting it Mark. Let your photos stand for them selves though,leave3 HDR toning for situations where dynamic range is limited.

I really like the train yard B&W shot... run a noise filter and it would be perfect.

Thanks Dan. I get it on the HDR, I just discovered it and was like a 19 year old going to the brass ballet for the first time.

Great shots, RCS.

I just scored a Pentax K1000 at a yard sale today. Looks pristine, but we shall see.

Has a 50mm lens, flash, et al.

Takes film as opposed to digital, but ya can't have everything.

Like yourself, I've wanted a good camera for a long time.

Gotta love those old buildings you did. Managed take some pics of old boathouses, barns, etc. around here - before they fell down, then did acrylic paintings of the pics.

Lotsa fun.

I'm heading to the south east coast of New Brunswick Monday. Hoping to get back into it .
