A B.C. woman, a teacher at a (not so) Christian School just got canned for living with her boy friend without sanction from clergy. She'd been teaching there for 14 years already.

Probably brought the attention to it by a SJW to bring changes to the system and in turn getting her fired, now using it to further their cause. 
I agree, but it is in the contract that is signed, so therefore agreed to, It was probably ignored and let be until some do gooder came along and pointed it out
How did they know she was having sex with him? A man and a woman can easily split on a 2-bedroom apartment to save on rent. That doesn't mean that they're necessarily having sex with each other.
I don't have a real problem with that, it does take the pressure off the public system and generally the kids don't lose as much time to strikes and (un) professional days.
I guess she shouldn't have accepted the contract without having it amended, I personally don't agree with her termination or policy, but the contract she signed had the stipulation in it.
The bigger picture is, was the Gov. aware of the stipulation in the contract before funding the school?
She might have a leg to stand on if they file as a couple at tax time. If they are a couple in the eye of the entity that allows the Churches to be tax-free entities then the Sate is the higher authority in the land.
