It's really no big deal, I just think it says something about the evolution of Candian~U.S. relations...

The relationship that Canada has in the world is either that of a joke (solid arguments available) or a bunch of rather naieve bumpkins who've fought well in several different wars (While of course America was saving out medicare and sitting back to watch....what a hoot!)

There was a time when there was great comradery between America and Canada... Canada hasn't changed....

The U.S. has announced it will be deploying Predator Drones to surveil the Canada-U.S. border along the prairie provinces. Yes that's the same UAV that's being used in Afghanistan and Iraq...
Cool. Something new for me to shoot at with my 338 Lapuas. :D And the nickname for F-4 Pantoms was "Thunderthuds" (the noise they made after being shot down). The drones could be called "Mini-thuds". :D

Can't be that pathetic, they have you using their spelling for "neighbour" :) What's wrong with so many Canucks that they inadvertantly use American spelling, even when bitching about American infuence?
It's a matter of expediency for me. It's simply less hassle to spell without the unnecessary "u" in things. That and I'm Irish (-Canadian) so the English language will always need improvements. :D

:laughing7:

that's what.

the stuff about delivering flu to canadians and testing LSD on canadians. can't comment beyond "i find it hard to believe".

The stuff about the drones. Just be grateful they dont have US pilots in them or we'd be shot to bits on a daily basis for looking like we might be a terrorist. The USA is paranoid, but we have nothing to hide here do we?
We have a lot of undeclared illegal rifles and whatnot. :D According to the latest figure I saw, the feds are only aware of about 3/5 of the firearms in Canada, which makes an awful lot of hard-working, honest farmers, hunters, etc. criminals.

There is no end to American paranoia. They've created so many enemies all over the world that they are forced to spend what little money they have left after all their illegal wars on this. Americans could all have free health care for the cost they spend on waging wars all over the world and security. The government has their citizens so scared they'll agree to anything without question.
"Free" healthcare? Where the hell does one get "free" healthcare now?

This is great stuff, keep it coming! I know this makes us look bad, but the average American couldnt find their own house on a map. So completely you can forget about us knowing where or who our enemies are.

The notion that we go through everyday life looking over our shoulders for the "ENEMY", and plotting to overthrow the Great White North, is as silly and just as paranoid as Canadians thinking we have plans to add your provinces as stars on our national ensign.

But hey, if this is how you get your jollies, by all means, continue.

Its too bad John Candy is dead because this would make a great sequel to Canadian Bacon.
Egg Zachery. It's funny. We sane people know it's only the US administration that's paranoid. The regular Joe and Jane Lunchbuckets are relatively normal people.

I like the idea. Our border must be "so" easy to cross illegally. It seems logical to me to have that
type of border "watch". Just makes sense, and seems very harmless to anyone, and very efficient

Some of you just need more "rest."

To some of them the average American can't tie his own shoes on one hand. But then America comes up with these INCREDIBLE plans to poison Canadians at airports and carry them out successfully. What does that say about them?

I thought that was all a part of the free trade agreement - Guns for Pot.

People seem to forget that after anything to do with plane crashes, the FCC sends its worker ants to collect all the evidence.

Laughing. FCC.

So I didn't know the Federal Communications Commision investigated airline crashes these days.

Us dumb Americans always thought it was the NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board). You folks up north teach us something new everyday.

I suppose the FCC (still laughing about that) should leave the wreckage "as is" and not try to figure out what caused it then.

FCC! lol

Your agencies have admitted doing these things my friend I don't have to dream them up!

Do you live in a world that doesn't have the NSA or the CIA or the FBI or a half dozen "agencies" that have acknowledged that they've participated in coups, assassination plots and skullduggery of all sorts?

Wait never mind, everything from the Bay of Pigs to Saddam as CIA operative is just looney-tune speculation as far as you're concerned right...?

Lee Harvey Oswald shot Kennedy with a magic bullet, Saddam Hussein moved enormous stockpiles of WMD past America's spy-satelites into Syria, and George Bush is a mastermind of foreign policy....

Right!

Well, I thought it was one of those F-things, the F-thing that investigates crashes. It's simply the TSB here in Canada. Ah. The FAA is the one I was thinking aobut. :D
