You are confused.

Most developed countries have a Debt to GDP ratio of around 80%.

Ontario's is currently 37% and on a downward trend.

This means that it appears we have a large debt, but that is only because our economy is so big.

Ontario's debt as of today.

$308,131,400,000.00

Ontario's not a country. If you want to compare apples to apples, how about comparing all national debt, public and private, between countries.

We are bigger than many countries though, except we then have TWO reaches of government screwing us down
;)
Then there is the county, the city, the town, and the municipality...

Mr Harper increased the federal debt more than that.

$150 billion?

I don't even know anymore, its too depressing,

Yep, he did.

In the midst of the worst financial breakdown the world had seen in many decades.

"War or recession", remember?

And then he left Trudeau with a balanced budget.........and predicted Trudeau was lying about "tiny little deficits".........and he was right.

You give Trudeau too much credit. A lie must meet three criteria:

1. The statement is untrue. Check.

2. The person who makes the statement knows that it's untrue. That alone does not make for a lie: novelists know that their stories are untrue after all. For Trudeau's intellect, I'm not sure if he understood that.

3. The person makes the statement with intent to deceive. I'm not sure Trudeau has the intellect to plan in such a calculated way.

Ergo, Trudeau doesn't have the wherewithal to lie.
