We all know about Quebec. Tell us about the long history of transfer payments into Ontario.
'We' in this case doesn't include me at the moment. In the 'follow the money' theme I got a year by year thing but nothing about where it went after that. I would think that you right to control the country takes a pause when you are on the welfare line yet demand you run the other side of the program as well.

Somebody mentioned sending money 'back home' while working in another Province, perhaps that should be claimed as income in that Province and subject to that tax rate. If I was going to do that it would be worth the while to separate and let the wife (or hubby) stay home with the kids and collect welfare at the same time. As far as attractions for people from the west to come east is limited compared to traveling an equal distance south. Spanish should be taught in school as well as French. For those that 'do not speak it the English'.

It isn't like there is are attempts to follow all the rules, if they are in the way, anyway. You just have to be sure you are on the side that doesn't prosecute those actions.

Look at this way. If Trump gets in, which is a possibility, no matter how many times the CBC or CNN posts a story about his potential downfall, we may be forced to take a hard look at our trade agreements. I'm not saying that we shouldn't sell our crude to only Canadian Provinces, I am saying that we should be selling to Canadian's first.
And what exactly is it in your recent history that makes you think you'll be able to do anything like this?
