Oldest Brother had it, then his semi was hit by a train a few years ago, & this was the first time I’ve thought about it since.Do you still have that rifle I bet it is worth a few dollars now
If you check out collector auctions you maybe able to find the Winchester clip to match, you should have it evaluated you might be pleasantly surprised at it's value. I know the 30 cal hex barrel are bring up words of $10k, my dad had one and he loved it so much he wore it out and sold it to a US hunter and bought a new 308.Oldest Brother had it, then his semi was hit by a train a few years ago, & this was the first time I’ve thought about it since.
The rifle was from 1902, but the clip was stamped 1905 (a replacement). The rifle & clip where different manufacturers (Winchester & Remington), & that gun was HEAVY but very accurate with that barrel & you learned to get steady with its length.
The below pic is from the inter-webs, but it’s similar. It was a lot for a kid to get the hang of (left-right was easy, but vertical due to the weight was a challenge):

I can see the potential for this type of training to help with both prevention and treatment of PTSD.So the US is now training troops to deal with the inhumanity that Russia is putting out in their training facility.
