A local dentist reported that the Russians stole them from his home. These are old dentures that he has been removing from his patients for many years.

The Coordination Headquarters for Treatment of Prisoners of War shared about one of the Russians, who had in advance cared about ending up in the hands of the Ukrainian authorities.

When he was still on the territory of Russia, the man discovered the contact information of the “I want to live” project. He contacted the Ukrainian Coordination Headquarters and received instructions on where and how he could surrender.

The captive is 26-year-old Russian Mikhail Kulikov from Orsk.

Russian journalists confirmed the man’s identity and contacted his colleague. He also confirmed the words of the prisoner of war, stating that he indeed received the summons on September 21.

The Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reports that the Russian soldiers are now surrendering en masse.

Andriy Yusov, the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine official, shared this.

He noted that in recent weeks, the hotline of the “I want to live” project received more than 2,000 calls.

The project can be found on Telegram, and the request can be submitted using the chatbot. The necessary information can also be obtained by calling +38 066 580 34 98 and +38 093 119 29 84.

“A citizen of the Russian Federation, or a resident of a temporarily occupied territory who was forcibly mobilized from the temporary occupied by Russia territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, or a resident of the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea, who arrived as part of the invasion army to the territory controlled by Ukraine, can contact the hotlines or write to the “I want to live” project. The person will be contacted, information will be checked, and the location is established. Appropriate security measures are taken both for prisoners of war and for representatives of Ukraine. All the basic rules are clear – it’s a white flag, weapons down, arms outstretched. This is a simple set of gestures and symbols that do not show aggressive intentions,” said Andriy Yusov, the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine official.


As previously reported, in one of his addresses, Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that, if necessary, Ukraine will not reveal the circumstances of how Russian military personnel would be captured.
