I think that is the case for pretty much all of them. They don't make their money selling gas, that is for sure. They get their money from all the snacks, gum, drinks, and cigarettes. I think they get maybe one or two cents per dollar of gas sold, but I could be off by a little bit.


Maybe a little more. Right now gas prices in British Columbia range from $1.11 to $1.36. I would say the places at $1.11 are only making a cent or two a liter but the rest are undoubtedly making more.

To be honest, I don't think that the stations are making that much more regardless of whether it is $1.11 or $1.36. Remember, it's the gas/oil companies that are getting all the money, not the stations themselves.
