Don't think of it as a segregation to a separate thread SirJoe, think of it as a ClubHouse
with no lock on the door, where you can come and go whenever you please, and might
just find a familiar face in it when you visit....kind'a like "Cheers." "HELLO NORM!!!"

This may very well have not been the original concept behind this Thread being created,
but that's what is can be. Silver lining...Glass 1/2 full....When you're handed lemons...

Na! this is perfect for getting acquainted and re-acquainted. The one who started it I think was only trying to be accommodating. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt and blend in (as much as that is possible). I kinda like this new creative side of Spade I haven't seen much of before. Could be inspiring. I also noticed a difference in how IslandSpecific is relating. I like it.

Thank you Ron in Regina and EagleSmack!

I had mistakenly sensed, as did others, that some here at CC were feeling a bit proprietary and insinuatory. Admittedly, I have had these feelings on occasion myself. So, earlier, I emailed the Pope to see if I should be offended.

Here is Benny's reply.

"Spade, my Son,
"Being insinuatory and proprietary are not even among the seven deadlies! Don't take it personally. Suck it up!"

And so, with your welcome, I sign off!

PS
As to being a threat! Nonsense. Now where is that red button?

Canada.com Poster Reveals All Under Rendition
Guano Bay, Aether Island
Cousin Spade, Battle-hardened Reporter, Nov. 24, 2008

A canada.com poster, who claims to be a knight of their realm, has been captured by Canadian-Content-Forum forces. During an exchange in homeforum threads, he was hogtied and shipped, blaze-orange jump suit and all, to the CC camp for terrans at Guano Bay, Aether Island!

“We nabbed that nasty nabob right by the nubbies,” a CC lieutenant declared. “Why that mother-kisser lobbed an abusive epithet right at one of our soldiers! And, ‘no’ the Geneva Conventions do not apply, as he was not seen wearing a suit of armour at the time.”

When asked if the prisoner revealed anything under torture, the lieutenant sniffed that virtual water boarding cannot be seriously considered ‘torture’ as electrons are just iddy-biddy! The lieutenant added that CC interrogators have extracted the following facts.

There may be a flood of canada.com posters breaching our virtual boarders as their forum has been locked behind an iron curtain of updates that prevent instant posting. Every post is moderated by Big Brother and may not appear for days! So we must be prepared for freedom seekers claiming refugee status.
Even more troublesome is that this canada.com infiltrator has admitted “We want your little smiley thingies!”

The lieutenant also added that CC members must be ever vigilant as these “refugees” are just mother-kissing “queue jumpers”!
Cousin Spade,
This post almost makes you sound like a turncoat and like you were never one of "us" on Canada.com I'm certainly glad that I know you would never turn your back on us. :p

Greenfish - thanks for the welcome but even though you were not a "regular" on Canada.com you certainly were there often enough to be recognized.

Why, thank you Ciffy! My family says I'm having a lucid moment. Now, where was I....?
You were being funny as always. I agree with Cliff here. Even though we were given a "page of our own" (this is for you too SirJoe) I think it was just a way of letting us get reacquainted with our new or old names. I certainly don't feel un-welcome. Just a little lost. Once I get more time to become more familiar - things will be better. Finally found out how to fix my mail so that not every new post comes to me. Now I can spend less time double reading. I did notice that they put new posts on the old forums at least twice today. Once again it's after midnight so - good mornin' all! Wakee wakee, rise and shine.
