The cementing you are talking about is for a dry-hole, all active holes have a tree left on top of the casing so they can come back
Like fuk, a single hole has steel all the way down and a plug at the bottom. A fracked well has the bottom of the hole going off horizontally, that is not the same as an oil well. You can run a fracked well dry, you cannot shut it down in the middle of production. Why do you thing the fracked areas are getting gas in the water wells?

Two tards at once, how special.

No, its just one tard talking out his @$$ and demonstrating a complete lack of knowledge of fluid mechanics. And sorry googling a half assed article about enhanced techniques doesn't change that.

Go ahead and pretend you're all knowledgeable from your days driving a truck to move some rigs around some popcorn gas fields. Try again.

Your statements reveal you know nothing about you're pretending. Your reference to "fracking" as opposed to hydraulic fracturing reveals which side of the street you're on. You do realize hydraulic fracturing has been around for DECADES and isn't really new, right? You do realize EVERY casing string (in other words every well) is cemented, right? And that when completing a well, an explosive charge (a.k.a. casing gun) is used to perforate the casing and the cement? By your assertion that "you can't shut a fracked well down in the middle of production" you're saying that you can't close and valve and stop flow?

If you had half a bloody clue you'd realize the source of groundwater contamination is the same its always been: piss poor casing cement jobs, which is why the ERCB/AUEB/whatever their name is this week has such a hard on for them. Congratulations, you really are a moron.

F**king headlines like that are very inflammatory and deceiving!! Is that for Canada, North America, the World? Just the word "could" means it's likely bullsh*t. Very irresponsible reporting!!

You sure that wasn't meant for bloomer?
They were D6's when a fig was on site. I could watch the setup with my feet on the dash but I had to be 1/4 mile away during the fracing. The reason, the rescue team isn't much use if they are part of a big accident. Triples are hardly popcorn rigs. You are probably referencing the walking rigs.

Yeah, that is what they were doing when I left that part of the patch in '82, You forgot the cooling of the pipe so it would fracture. Shale fracturing is fracturing the rock outside the casing, that is why there are a dozen full tanks of oil on site before the crew shows up. You can turn the tree off, the pressure below will find it's own way to the surface, if not beside the pipe then through natural fissures in the rocks themselves. Cement on the outside is not a perfect gas seal and cement that is used for different zones is inside the pipe and that is leakproof.

Is that 'of the highest caliber' or run of the mill. That is still several steps above the trolls around here.

It just happens to show up where shale is the source of the wells. Yeah okay.

Another idiot I'm living rent free in their head..

You just had to interject your stupidity into this thread MegaButtHurtz..

If you don't understand what I was referring to in the movie Tulsa, you might want to watch it. I think Petros understood my reference to EOR or whatever..

I could personally care what happens on a rig.. I enjoyed my short time doing my job and moved on..

How in the fuk does a water hauler or a sump sucker get fired. BTW those are usually two different companies so you ran one or the other rather than both. Just sayin . . .

Keep showing your stupidity.. didn't get fired.. and it's a Vac Hauler, cleaning out the Mud Tank and spreading the mud.

If you truly know anything about the patch, then you would know who Big Eagle is.. they broker out their equipment and driver to the different drilling companies.

Precision Drilling was the first rig I was on, but didn't like the drug use, so Big Eagle tossed me onto TrailBlazer 14. (TB14) - I avoid drugs, don't want to get seizures or something like that.. you know what I mean. ;)

I didn't like the lifestyle of a Rig Pig, following a rig from lease to lease with my trailer in tow.

I prefer to actually see the country.. not dry desert, cow paddies, and prairie.

I'm pretty sure drugs would be able to damage you mind any more than what it is. Just what did you do to have a stroke victim appear like a chess master when standing right next to you?

Like back in the day when the cat-push and the oil company consultant would charge for equipment that was never on-site. When caught the consultant got moved up and the cat-push got a consulting job with the same company. Saw it lots, never could figure out why it was looked on as 'a good one'.

WHAT?? You mean tool-push and consultant?

Oh don't forget the free ATV as a kickback to get a contract. ;)

To slimey of an industry for me, drugs, bribes, shooting deer out of season and having a BBQ on the Rig.

Prefer the Interstate below my tires and the open road.

You're no chess master.. my bishop has already taken your queen and placed you in Checkmate. ;)

You like to pretend you're smart. "pretend"

Anyhow, I have wasted enough time with the forum MegaButtHurtz.. run along little boy. Maybe I will have a "stroke" of luck and you're drop dead.
