One of the largest deposits – 250 billion barrels of oil in Israel’s Shfela
basin, comparable to Saudi Arabia’s entire reserves of 260 billion barrels of
oil
How is 260B Bbl of proven liquid crude going to be decimated by a potential (unproven reserve) 250B Bbl of oil shale? 1 costs $4BBL to pump from the ground the other $100BBL from shale..

OPEC has long been disolving but that does that mean their oil vanished?

If Israel can develope a method to extract for cheaper than $100 a Bbl then that is great. Maybe they can get of the global teat and start taking care of themselves.

BTW this isn't the first time somebody made claims of oil in Israel. They are on the wrong side of the faultline.

Read the articles I posted.

250 billion barrels are confirmed.......with the possibility of another 250 billion, and natural gas..........

Extraction is between 30 and 40 dollars a barrel.

Then they will take care of themselves, get off the US teat, and start buying American arms.....and undersell OPEC product......

I can hear the Arabs now....

"Allah, oh Allah, why hast thou foresaken us????"

lol

Are you going to invest? Sounds like a solid company. They've only lost 2000% over the past couple years. Sounds like a sure thing Colpy. Go for it.

$70 to $100 a barrel....

Until the magic salt rods are developed.

Go ahead. They want your money. Invest Colpy! Invest! If it works you'll have enough money to buy new hair.

EVERY resource search loses money at first, name of the game.

And my name ain't Baron Rothschild.

I never invested a penny in anything, until Sept. 29, 2008.....if you catch my drift.

If I invested, all their assets would sink into the sea.

This is the type of project that is going to be sat on until crude is depleted. As it is, oil is kept artificially inflated as it currently is being pimped to pay for new Saudi development.

It's a potentially good thing in the future for Israel, but right now what you are reading is called a press release to raise venture funds and isn't really anything to jump up and down about. With the amount of geological movement in that particular area I personally wouldn't invest in anything deeper than 10m.

500 billion to 1.1 trillion recoverable barrels under the Rockies!

Nation & World | Study reveals huge U.S. oil-shale field | Seattle Times Newspaper

Proven oil reserves

* Arkansas - 49 million barrels- ranked 19th in the
U.S.
* Louisiana - 501 million barrels- ranked 7th
* Kansas - 237 million
barrels- ranked 11th
* New Mexico - 710 million barrels- ranked 4th
*Oklahoma - 598 million barrels- ranked 6th
* Texas - 5,015 million barrels-
ranked 1st
No oil they say. Gotta take from the seas the parklands. Need to develope kerogen reserves or we'll all die a horrible death.

I have a question. Who is footing the bill for research to develope Oil Shale extraction technologies in Canada?

The oil and service companies are footing the bill for the research and trials. Most of this is being done by the frac and drilling companies.
