Point taken, when I see what you describe, I find rather than to argue it's more effective just to ask a question and that puts it back in their court and a lot of times you get no response hence killing their ulterior motive.
This is the original OP and it only talks about military....and since the present and former members of the military are so fond of pointing out that killing is what the primary purpose of the military..... then ..... like I said....hell of an idea..... god way to teach our young to maim and kill.
you only saw that part of it , tho the discussion was spread with the fringe thread the idea developed to something else.
So , if one took the time to read all the post one would of noticed the lack of violent intent ;-)

don't like my interpretation? Tough shyte! War mongers can dress it up anyway they want, it's still teaching the young how to kill, anything else that they "may" learn is secondary.

For your sake I hope you're never involved in any situation or in an area where these "killers and maimers" may be needed to locate or rescue you or anyone you care about...
