"Scratch, Obama is nothing like Bush, he is a huge contrast from Bush" - For now Sir Rupe, I'm inclined to agree with you as that is what we see and hear SO FAR.
"a seasoned politician vetted by the most powerful financial elements in the world he will ignite the planet in the war to institute global fascism. He serves the international bankers exclusivly, he is a monumental liar, he is a skilled orator and a polished executioner, a servant of wealth and power. He will do no good and we will all suffer.
I think I had just read this in the The Lies of George W. Bush: Mastering the Politics of Deception although they failed to mention that Georgie was anything close to being a "skilled orator"
So relax DarkBeaver, George will be gone in a couple of months and the world can have hope once again
Obama is in the transition period, if anyone expects him to have 'done' anything to
change government, it was impossible, he won't be the president till well into January. He is slowly choosing his 'team', I really like the pick of Hilliary for Secretary of state, she will do a fine job.
He is so 'intelligent' and calm and patient. He ran a very 'classy' campaign, did not
resort to childish dirty campaigning, that was classy.
Of course it will take years to turn things around, and I would hope that everyone
realizes that, he isn't a miracle worker, no one is, but he will slowly turn the country around so they can work their way back up and regain confidence and a more positive attitude.
He will gradually pull out of iraq, a good thing, as that will give the country billions
of dollars in savings each and every month, 'what a sickening waste' that was.
I am looking forward to the next 8 years of an obama presidency, but I do not
expect to be jumping around because of any instant remedys, it book bush
eight years to ruin his country and others countries as well, and it will take
a long time to 'heal' that mess.
But I feel confident that they have the right man for the job.
As an American citizen in the seventh decade I'm one who feels FDR did not solve the financial crisis of the Crash of '29 and what he did do was get people back to work, get survival goods flowing and then when the next trouble hit in 1938 the participation by US manufacturers for war materials to Europe got the financial parts moving again. The massive growth of US industry in the WW II era sure didn't hurt the US economy. My concern right now is whether the US will fall back into the mode of going to war to help stimulate the economy. To date that is our history and I sure hope history is not repeated again. This new proposed administration seems to be commited to finding real valid solutions.

Hillary, Secretary of State, that will look good on her C.V. when she takes on Obama again in four years. And it was a gift for her handing her delegates to him.
As Secretary of State she will need all the advice she can get and her BEST source will be Bill.
Personally i don't think Obama Has a plan, hes making it up along the way. Its impossible for him to go through with the tax cuts and his desire for healthcare reform when he's spending trillions bailing industries out
