A US citizen can enter Canada to travel visa-free for up to six months at a time, yet he still doesn't have a right to collect social assistance in Canada. How do you explain that?
Not living and working, just visiting.

Says the moron too stupid to know I was talking about/to him. You know despite the fact I addressed you directly in that post. That TDS is really affecting your brain. You should make an appointment for a CT scan or something. He's just another Trumptard.
Buddy, I know exactly where I'm coming from. 42 years of studying the history of warfare, its causes and effects and the role propaganda plays, even when there's not a shooting war between opposing sides, puts me in a pretty good spot to read exactly what's going on. That and I refuse to jump at appeals to the emotional just because of the target. And Jinentonix, I don't think you're an idiot. I think I just don't understand where you're coming from, that's all.
Frankly if this is what works then perhaps separate all children from all parents and guarantee everyone's good behavior.
What? Are you not aware that a person on a student, work, or business visa still can't apply for social assistance? All I'm proposing is to cut the bureaucratic red tape and let them work visa-free. How would that suddenly give them a right to social assistance? It would just do exactly what I said it would do: let them work visa-free, nothing more, nothing less.

So again, where's all the moral outrage about this happening in Canada and Australia? It's nowhere to be found because A) the leftoids can't blame Trump for it and B)Canada and Australia have supposedly liberal progressive govts so to avoid the personal internal conflict, if they're even capable of such depth, they avoid the subject altogether.
For people like Flossy it's clearly not about the children or human rights, it's just another excuse to bash Trump for the same shit Obama has done, that Trudeau is doing, Australia is doing, etc.
I remember reading that one of the rationales for the Canadian Indian residential schools was that it helped to keep the parents in line desperate to see their children again.
The US policy was in the news recently and that
It seems to me that Trump was given no other choice. The system that has been in place releases captured families with a 'promise to appear' at an asylum or deportation hearing. Of course 80% never turn up. Meaning the entire system is a joke. The border is a joke. If there was a process that allowed for an orderly and summary deportation of entire families that have crossed the border illegally it would be done. But it is these parents who are putting their children in jeopardy by making dangerous cross desert runs, often transported by ruthless smuggling cartels.
The Left doesn't care about the separation of children from illegal Mexican parents. But they do care about pretending to care, to score political points. They are the ones using the kids as pawns, not Trump.
Their plan must be working in spades. They've had a few opportunities to correct their game over the last 16 months.Notice Russia Russia Russia has dropped off the screen.
