Do you watch a lot of American news stations? They're on my tv news daily. Perhaps it's because my local news station is from an area with a few military bases nearby or something? We are constantly reminded of the fact that people are dying in this war.

I get plenty of American news, perhaps you could direct me to your local stations web site to see pics and stories of flag draped coffins.

They generally show a picture of the dead soldier in uniform, then the grieving family. Google for stations in Southern California in general (KCBS, KNBC, KCAL, KTTV) . I'm not too far from Camp Pendleton which is a fairly large base from what I understand.

Even CNN includes a death count of US soldiers in almost every Iraq story it does. I know because I always check the area in which they were killed. 77 in July apparently. They can't all make front page national news unfortunately. Some months are over 100.

No there is not, in fact a U.S. casualties barely makes news anymore.

Apathy is killing your heros.

The mods here have no balls.

Yer right... I don't have any balls - but that's ok, they'd clash horribly with the rest of my girly bits. I do however have this cool little whizzie stick....

....so how 'bout you take some time to think about how to treat people with a bit more respect, including the hosts of your l'il playground here, or we can provide that for you ... all at no extra cost.

hmmm looks like you earned yourself a holiday as I was posting this. Hope you come back in a better mood. :-|
