Well, hopefully, Barry-O will learn that his priorities should always be on what's happening within our shores, not overseas just like our Founding Fathers demanded. This is exactly the same thing I said during the Bush years and today. Once we fix up the mess we see domestically then we may possibly look at lending a hand overseas. But not until the job is done. And sadly that is a lesson he has failed to grasp.

Enriching fissionable material requires a factory of hundreds/thousands advanced centrifuges. (Nukes require highly enriched fissionable material. sort of like how alcohol above a certain purity becomes flammable.. beer and wine aren't flammable, but alcool is)
Designing a nuke requires a sophisticated lab with specialized test equipment.
Iran has all these capabilities. But so far they haven't crossed the 20% enrichment limit required to manufacture nuclear weapons.
Also if Iran ever built a gadget, they'd have to build and test it first before they could rely on it in combat... Hiding a nuclear test is damn near impossible...
