Most of these clowns behave like highly-paid teenage gamers once in their comfy House seats.

WHAT BS!!!!! First of all, I haven't noticed that Harper slapped on martial law, as did Trudeau.

October Crisis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

From 1963 to 1970 the Quebec nationalist group Front de libération du Québec had detonated over 95 bombs

95 bombs, that almost sounds like war to me.

Nor has there ever been any hint of him taking money, like Mulroney.

And we didn't know about Mulroney for years, he even won a court case against the government in the full knowledge that if he'd revealed the fact he'd taken hundreds of thousands of dollars in brown paper bags his case would have been thrown out.

Nor havev I seen any mobsters in cabinet, nor shady deals with arsonist hoteliers, nor the use of the RCMP as a kind of gestapo to persecute those who would not enable Chretien's corruption.......

who knows what goes on in our government nowadays, one thing the Conservatives have mastered is control of the message, they reportedly brought in American Republican experts in how to pervert the system the way they did in the states.

NOT EVEN CLOSE.

On the environment issue alone the Harper government is probably going to be seen as the most irresponsible in our history, there were also repeated cases of a large credibility gap in what the Conservative government was telling us about the Afghanistan mission and what independent sources claimed. There were also strong complaints about the Conservatives using the military as a prop. The mission cost over 150 Canadian lives and IIRC about 360 billion dollars...and the Taliban is still there and in some ways stronger than ever. If we were intentionally misled on that one issue it would make everything the Liberlas did seem trivial.

And it shouldn't be about who was worst, this is the false choice the Conservatives and their supporters keep trying to force on us. The issue should be who does the best for Canada, we may not even have a future with the direction the current government is taking us.

Meh. They were small. Trudeau handcuffed the RCMP, things got out of hand. Then he decided to roll out the War Measures Act. Innocent labour leaders all the way out in BC got picked up in that fascist act.

Yet we know all about how bad they are. You keep telling us all about it. Can't be that good at keeping secrets can they?

Nah, they share that distinction with the party that signed the Kyoto Accord, and then did nothing.

So, what you are saying, in essence, is

"I have no knowledge or evidence of actual legal wrong-doing on the part of the Conservative government, but I don't like them"

Fine.

Vote NDP.

RIGHT!

Trudeau calling MPs "those nobodies" was extremely respectful, the "Rat Pack" was called that because they were so polite, and Chretien instructing his cronies to cry out "racist" every time a Reform MP stood to speak...

That is what you call "respect"........

IN BREAKING NEWS, PRIME MINISTER TRUDEAU HAS DIED!!!!!

Why are you going on about a politician who hasn't been alive for years let alone in power. And yes he was a jerk, I didn't like his style of government either.

The things that concern me now are government that not only doesn't listen to voters, it most likely denies some the right to vote and almost certainly is distorting the information on some very important issues that we genuinely need to have say on. Governing based on how ignorant you can keep the voters so your interests are protected isn't democracy.

I have no doubt that unless it completely steals the election next time that the Conservatives are gone for all the abuses of power we've seen over the last six years. It's more than time that the NDP got a chance to shine in this country federally.

So, what you are saying, in essence, is

There's lots.

out of time for now.

Because you keep claiming that what harper is doing is the worst in Canadian history.

Then talk about that and stick to facts, leave your hyperbole in the sock drawer.
