I am hoping the Poop Stain finally accomplishes something.

If he can withdraw America frmo NATO and American troops from Europe he will have done the world a favor - without knowing it.

Russia's meddling is likely to have the opposite effect. It is more likely to push these nations into closer contact with the West.

Yes it probably will but a nation cannot join NATO without full majority support of the nation, by keeping the nation unstable you cannot guarantee a majority support to join NATO.

He has no intention of pulling out of NATO, he never said to pull out of NATO, he said reduce support for NATO until they pony up their fair share.

Besides now it is illegal for Trump to pull out of NATO

Trump should put the US on a payment holiday until the other members pay up.
No money for offices, payroll, exercises, gasoline, flights... nothing.

Interesting idea, but there is no way Ukraine joins NATO.
That would mean war.

Russia is a rogue state and I think Europe is best suited to deal with them in whatever way they see fit.

Canada has very little reason to be dealing with Russia in any military sense.

Our alliances are old and no longer relevant.

a much bigger win for America.

Unless they get something out of their spending that we don't....

Sure if that is what they want and NATO nations agree too. U.S. isn't asking the nations to spend over 4% GDP, they are asking the Nations to pay what they agreed to 2% GDP

Don’t watch Fox and Friends much myself . Just going on what I hear and see , perhaps you are right and it is all an illusion built on a house of cards .
