Watching the summer circuit I notice that Mulcair is almost silent either he took
the summer off or they are sizing up each riding.
Harper is doing the rounds. His problem is time. People are tired of his leadership
they want a new direction. In addition they are not happy about some of his social
policy directions. He is not seen as a major enhancement of medicare and his
attitude toward the farmers in this country is not a positive one either.
As I have said before, I have two choices. Mulcair or Trudeau as the present government
has fallen far short of Canadians desires.
As for the pipelines and surrounding information. I am not a green supporter or a rabid
environmentalist, but I am happy with the LX Pipeline situation and the Northern Gateway.
XL provides jobs for foreigners at the expense of Canadians.
Norther Gateway is not the problem as a pipeline its the company that can't be trusted
leading it.
The campaign will begin with the fall session. I have great reservations about Mr Trudeau
but he has a real chance of winning. Harper is not exactly a non dictator either and he is
on the wrong side of history in a number of issues

You still haven't read up I see

Jr. needs a lot more experience. A good start might be to increase his fleet of trucks and equipment in the sand box and gradually work up from there.

It's all about who they hire. No politician actually runs things.

So you would like to see the same back room boys who gave us sponsorgate running the show ?
Those same nice people who offered up Dion and his Kyoto taxes , and Michael Egghead , once again are chomping at the bit to get back on the gravy train . Luckily for most Canadians the Liberal brand has lost its luster despite the positive press .

O and Grumpy another one of your predictions, if you ever get one right I will come up to Kelowna and buy you a beer .

One thing that baffles me. Why do the Libs manage to work so well with US Republicans and Can Cons can't do a damn thing with US Dems?

His "gaffes" reveal who he really is; an admirer of murderous communist dictatorship (just like Daddy), a man with a taste for autocratic rule (just like Daddy), a two-faced liar (just like Daddy), with absolutely no respect for his MPs (just like Daddy), and lacking anything remotely resembling a functioning intellect (just like Mommy)

I would vote for Mulcair LONG before I would vote for Trudeau.

Trudeau will be heartbroken about that. I'm sure he was counting on your support.

When it comes time to vote people will remember Harper's accomplishments..

They have been helping build a stronger Canadian economy:

Canada has added more than one million net new jobs since the depths of the global recession;

Canada now enjoys the strongest economy in the G7 and the richest middle class in the world; and

Canada well on track to balancing the budget next year.

They have also helping Canadian families and protecting our communities:

Conservatives lowered taxes by over $3,400 for the average family, including cutting the GST from 7% down to 5%;

Conservatives gotten tough on crime with tougher penalties for violent criminals, and introduced a Victims Bill of Rights to recognize the victims of crime; and

Put consumers first by fighting for more choice and lower prices on cell phone bills.

And we’re putting Canada first:

Conservatives standing up for Canada's oil sands industry and for the tens of thousands of new jobs possible from Keystone XL;

Conservatives pursuing the most ambitious free trade agenda in Canada's history, including historic deals with the EU and Korea; and

Conservatives protecting Canadians’ way of life, including scrapping the long-gun registry and defending Canada's humane and sustainable seal hunt.

Just a small fact to help keep us on track. Harper was handed quite a large surplus, which Harper has turned into
a 16 billion dollar deficit. Remember the New fighters and ships the military wanted? Well, they have to be ordered again.

Sounds like Harper is not a financial genius that he wants us to believe...........:roll:.

And one more little tiny fact - Harper was handed the large surplus BEFORE the 2008 recession!

Was the 2008 recession Harper's fault or was it a long time coming, predating back to the Liberal dynasty?

Certainly not Harpers, it originated in the U.S. some of the key players were Freddie and Fanny and Ken Lay just to name a very, very few. That A$$hole from Boston who got sentenced to 150 years scammed off a dollar or two as well.
