NASA: Tar sands is the "dirtiest of fuels"

I never noticed how many people are seriously concerned about the environment, until I read this thread.

The question I am left wondering, is do these same people put their money where there mouth is.. in short, do you pay extra for Eco-friendly services and products..?

Do you recycle cans, bottles and plastics?

Don't know about the greenies but I recycle buildings, concrete and old cars. There is good money in it.

Not according to Canadas polar bear guy that studies them in Churchill and all over the arctic.I had dinner with him a few times in camp and all is well according to him.

You should know by now that greenie cityots are not interested in truth, it cuts into their fund raising

I pay extra for everything, so that the companies can meet environmental regulations. We all do.

I know there was an extra Environmental Tax Levy on bottles of Coke Cola or Soda when I was in Drumheller, Alberta last. Not really sure how wide spread this is across Alberta or Canada.

Hoonose? Might be a good idea. Even with "dirty" oil, if it got refined in Canada - somewhere in Canada - it would be a plus for the country............eh?? We could sell some value added stuff. Now that would be a change.;-) Provide a bit of employment as well, for all of us lazy Ontarions.

That human activity contributes to climate change is incontravertible. As a parent, I wish to see my children and grandchildren live on a hospitable planet. To realize that end requires responsible action by both industry and government as well as the individual. Frankly, because of greed and perceived self interest, I see too little responsible action.

No one West of Ont. believes that, Spade. May as well fart in the wind.
