NASA has announced officially the evidence of flowing water on the surface of Mars.
Here I have to say that this was stated by the interpreter of the Quran and the Bible Mohammed-Ali Hassan Al-Hilly since 1947.

In fact this was discovered many years ago, and they were silent about it, but they now proclaim it, because they plan for manned mission to Mars, and so there should be available water and good atmosphere with oxygen in appropriate amount and pressure should be acceptable.

That looks like a good planet for you. When are you moving?
lol

The thing about an atmosphere with oxygen in it is that there has to be something to exchange other gases, like carbon dioxide, for instance. PLANTS are what does that And those plants have to be mutually compatible with humans. So far, no-one has discovered plants on Mars.
On Mars, there is this matter of temperature, as well. At the equator, a SUMMER day may get up to 21 °C but it will plummet to -73°C overnight. That means byebye plants.
There's more if you research a bit.

Water exists on Mars.
So life also exists.
{And [We] made – of water – every living thing.}

Moreover, the atmosphere is clear. It's not like the atmosphere of Venus for example, which is full of thick smoke of poisonous gases like sulfur dioxide and others.

Oh look!

... a Muslim grooming gang cleaning up Mars for Allah!

I know now for certain why Jesus Christ said to them: "sons of vipers!"

Since all gasses eventually turn into a liquid and then a solid what is flowing as I doubt it is water as the ground is usually cold and a very thin atmosphere would mean any heat being radiated would meet the cold of space at a very low altitude. You could have something flowing on Pluto but it would be methane rather than water.

That this article got 11 more responses that Putin's speech at the UN is what I love about this place. I should have kept count of how many 'Wow's' I have had/said over the years

Here is one of those wonderful moments. For the adults in the room there is a longer version.

Apparently, it is in a saturated, brine solution and the salt keeps the freezing point much lower than just plain water would have.

Generally speaking it may be colder than Earth.
But don't doubt, MHz, there is obvious variation of temp. on Mars surface: varying from frozen poles to other places not so cold.
In addition, it is flowing for considerable period of time, not evaporating or transforming to other forms.

So be certain: it is more or less much similar to the Earth, with some variations of course.

Now, their discoveries are primitive and they will come to know more by time.

Try it in the freezer part of your fridge, if there is some salt visible on the bottom then it has absorbed as much salt as possible. Sea ice at the North Pole is fresh water and all the salt is removed during the freezing process. Care to guess what temp that happens at?

What is the nighttime time temp? With little atmosphere (and water vapor to hold the heat) there should be freezing temps every night. If it is liquid there has to be some evaporation and that would mean clouds on the days that are supposed to be above freezing.

You're balmy, mate. The atmospheric pressure on Mars is no good for humans and that's the least of the problems. Mars is a dead planet. It has no magnetosphere. No magnetosphere means no natural protection from solar radiation.
The water is also salt water which means making it potable is going to be very energy intensive. Something they likely won't have the ability to do on Mars.

Quite frankly, we're better off "colonizing" the Moon first anyway. The conditions are equally deadly but if there's an emergency, there's at least a chance of mounting a rescue. On Mars, there will be no chance of rescue so it seems like we should at least get it all figured out close to home before we go gallivanting off to other planets.
