Highly speculative and completely irrelevant ot the conversartion, as per usual, petros. If, as the Cap'n alleges, plant growth globally is increasing and human contributions to CO2 in the atmosphere are insignificant, then what is causing CO2 to increase by 1 to 2 ppm per year? If it were a closed system, then tehre would be no effect on CO2. And yet it is increasing.

Where are the other CO2 data sets? We know the atmosphere isn't a consistent mixture of gasses that varies from location to location.

Come up with 20-15 from various locations and your graph will have validity.

Dance your way over to Google and prove me wrong.

We do? Again, this is just stuff you throw out there without any evidentiary support whatsoever. You're just trying to sound scienc-y.

Mauna Loa is often used as an example of rising carbon dioxide levels because its the
longest, continuous series of directly measured atmospheric CO2. The reason why it's acceptable to use
Mauna Loa as a proxy
for global CO2 levels
is because CO2 mixes
well throughout the atmosphere. Consequently, the trend in Mauna Loa CO2 (1.64 ppm
per year) is statistically indistinguishable from the trend
in global CO2 levels
(1.66 ppm per year). If
global CO2 was used in Figure
1 above, the result "hockey stick" shape would be identical.

Did you ever research ice caps following magnetic pole shift? Yes or no? I know it's no so I'm going to have to go into teaching/fact exposing jig because alarmists tend to be lazy....

It deserves it's own thread....

The question isn't the shift in plant life. The question is, if plant life is increasing, why is CO2 going up?
