Look, silly boy, as I said the population of QC and ON is far bigger than the rest of the country's population. So you one person, one vote idea results in those two provinces dictating what happens in the rest of the country because of the imbalance in representation. Toronto by itself has more than half the population of BC and if you add Ottawa, Mississauga, and Brampton those 4 have more than BC's population.
Your "one person, one vote solution" sucks, dude, because it is only fair in one sense, not the entirety..

Nope. Pretty sure everybody understands that. The issue is what to do about it. Giving more seats per person to Islanders means less seats per person to Albertans. It doesn't fix a problem. It just hands it off to somebody else.

Have the Provinces hold the referendums and the vote on a Federal bill will be submitted.

If it is by population the sparely populated Provinces are on the sidelines. If it is by Province the sparsely populated ones with have gangsters move in and that is who will be running the place. Voter numbers and area represented might be a better way to have it where 30 members in the far north have as much say about what happens in their district as 30 from Toronto and Montreal, the criminal capitals of Canada.
There is a chart available (I will be posting those stats on a new thread, bet on it) that would seem to solve the problem right there. Let the population that is less than 1% in the provinces run the whole fukking show. If they aren't allowed to do that that they give you a royal fuk over. Ask Iran and Cuba how that goes, . . . and why it was well worth the trouble. The Province that has 15 'capable people' there should just kill all the useless eaters as the area is only of interest to hard-rock miners who do not like to share their treasures, even between themselves.

That is the very reason why the U.S. has an Electoral College - to prevent the bigger states from ruling over the entire country. The Founders were, obviously, quite right in knowing that human capacity to want power needed to be controlled as much as possible.

I heard that on the radio that Rachel Meadow on MSNBC got a hold of Trump's 2012 tax return and found out (much to her chagrin) that Trump is in fact rich and paid more taxes than Obama, Bush and the Clinton's did all together! But of course, since it wasn't a "recent" return I guess it wasn't good enough. Don't know when this supposedly occurred and if it did, good on her!!
