It's interesting that we say that, but it is neither true nor a legal standard. All an acquittal means is that, after a forest has died in the production of motions limiting the evidence to be presented, the finder of fact cannot say that the accused is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Which is why I prefer the Scottish formula of acquittal, "Guilt not proven."

The Meuller report does not specifically say "no collusion". I guess that it hinges on your definition of what "collision" is. Trump's definition doesn't match everybody's.
