Gopher, sometimes I think that you people would have been better off if South had separated during the Civil War.

They did separate and they got their butts kicked for doing so.

Sure, South would have been a Fundamentalist Christian dictatorship today, with appalling record of human rights. But North would have been similar to Canada.
