Do you have to? If you have a choice, go somewhere else. :)

If you have no choice, hang in there, you'll get through it. London is a small city with a big city mentality. There are some great institutions there, but I found it really really snobby when I lived there, and was very happy when I left.

I live in London currently and I see that you're also looking at Ottawa? I lived there for 18 years.

I'm assuming you're younger since your mentioning studies, I'd say head to Ottawa for sure. London, from my point of view, is not too vibrant for the younger crowd.(Although thousands of Western and Fanshawe students might say differently, who knows) I was younger when I first arrived in Ottawa myself, so I might be a little biased that way.

It is more expense to live in Ottawa than London, which might be a consideration.

Any specific questions I'd be happy to try and answer if you'd like.

:)

I've been living in Ottawa for a little over a year now and love it. Hopefully I'll be here for a long time. I personally can't stand London, Western in particular. Full of pretentious idiots by and large.
