Or as I call it, 'Lazy, whiney b*tch leave". I mean good God, she couldn't at least come up with "My dog had puppies" or "My cat had kittens"? Nope, her reasoning is she should get extended paid time off just because she's a woman that apparently no one wants to touch.

Actually, it should be the other way around. People that aren't contributing to the population, and through that the work force, should be taxed higher as they are not carrying their weight.

Especially when society borrows so much money for infrastructure based on the ability of the next generations ability to pay it.

Not having kids is like not contributing to making slaves to pay off our streets and hospitals we enjoy today.

It's the result of our distorted reality due to public policy of equality and fairness. For those who lived before the policy was in place and functional, the stupidity is apparent. But only because these people have a perspective of how things were before without the policy that distorted the base reality.

Once someone is born after a policy has already been put in place, the distortion on reality this policy brings is not known. There is no knowledge of the distortion a policy has on reality, because they have no experience of how things were before the policy.

So in a way it's best if our government stopped making so many policies, because the distortion they are making are making people really stupid.

It's why no one has common sense. Common sense is based on understanding reality. How can you establish a sense of what is common, when you live in a distorted reality based on policies distorting what is naturally supposed to be happening.

This has caused political correctness to replace common sense.

I went on maternity leave, when my eldest was born. That bothered my dad to no end.
He worked in the express department at the bus depot. I went down to have coffee with him. I got there a little early.
While waiting a obviously pregnant courier came in with a large package. I suggested to Dad that he help her.
Dad was furious with my suggestion he said " if she has the job, she does the work herself "
That was 1988.
